Apologies for my lack of knowledge but I am based in the UK. A relative in his late 70's has a house and a farm worth around 750,000. Is there lender who would lend him 100,000? I had a brief chat with a BOI mortgage advisor who told me due to his age they couldn't do anything for him which I found surprised as such…
