Don't know about Legion, but quick resume is definitely working on Valhalla now! :)

Why isn't MS blocking emulators and ... unofficial stuff on their consoles ????

It's only high level access so no threat to security and nothing illegal with emulators.

Well - that's brilliant and another reason to get the X | S.
    Does Sony block emulators ?
I know Nintendo would Nuke This From Orbit.

Only reason that emulators would be running on a sony or nintendo console is if it's a security breach which would be closed immediately as it would open up for piracy or worse.

Microsoft might still close this developer mode though.

Having read up on it more, you're right, that's a seriously annoying bug. Seems to be Ubisoft messing up their save feature, which is made worse by Microsoft turning off Quick Resume for this game.

Hopefully they get it sorted soon. Hopefully early December for the patch means tomorrow.

Just FYI quokula, Ubisoft have pushed out a patch for Legion, but rather amazingly, it does not fix the save issue on the Series platforms.

Hold off playing if you can, they now know what's causing the issue and are still working on it. I'd assume the next patch will fix it up.

Loving my PS5. Brother is considering the Xbox next year when there are more releases. All down to the games at the moment but we’ll see, he’s flipped a few times already so you never know, be good to have a different system to try

What's this? Hadn't heard anything in relation to this.

Sony were refusing to refund Cyberpunk even after the developer told people to refund if they were not happy.

Sony stuck to their no refunds if game is downloaded policy despite it being a broken mess that crashes frequently.

whoever is in charge of certification at both sony and microsoft have a lot to answer for.

its an easy win for either of them but in the grand scheme of things it will not matter, fanboys would continue to shout how one is better than the other regardless of what either company practices.

Indeed, I'm happy with the performance from both. The PS5 still has some problems with the OS though.

PS5 still can't intelligently switch between wired and wireless networking upon connection/disconnection of cable.

The PS5 still has that stupid full installation copying upon downloading a patch.

The PS5 can't output audio via usb and HDMI at the same time.

The Xbox is not without its faults either though, mainly how inconsistent quick resume currently is.

Smart delivery looks good on Xbox and it's not something Sony currently have.

Yeah, the way to upgrade on PS5 is a little messy. Quite a few in the Destiny clan had issues with it.

Doesn't help that it then sets both versions to download and you need to go into storage settings to delete the unwanted PS4 version.

Certification is nothing to do with how good or bad a game is. What the certification process looks for is any bugs that will crash the OS (not game crashes), corrupt data or create security loop holes.

If the game is a pile of ****e but does none of these things wrong then it will pass.
