First floor noisy from below

From the ground floor it’s really noisy and creaky when someone is walking upstairs but not so noisy upstairs Anyone know what causes this and what we can do? We’ve only just had the floorboards upstairs secured and a new floor put down

Floorboards moving on the timber joists.
You can screw and nail them down before putting on your floor finish.

If you can lift them and glue the timber down followed by screwing.
