That's probably the biggest positive for Sam now today... that at most he could lose 30 points to Sagan. Luckily it's not 50

Sam gone out the back now

Eurosport showing a race in France, talking about races in Italy and giving weather updates on Spain. The ramblings of a cycling commentator

I don’t mind them talking about Tirreno-Adriatico cos it’s been shown on Eurosport but weather in Spain ! Lol

Sagan falling off now so won't lose anything.

Sunweb are great craic, firing 3-4 people into breaks, or putting the whole team as a sprint train to finish 14th o

Is Sagan in the same group as Yellow and White jerseys?
    I had to go out.

There's enough people up ahead to look like the winner won't come from that group, plus still a Cat 2 climb to come

Yeah, he's hanging at the back of it

    Cmon Hirschi, third time lucky!

LOL - Sagan out the back, Alaphilippe attacked off the front.

Nico in the chase group behind Hirschi

Sagan is still hanging in with the Yellow jersey group, the hoor!

Only watching the last 15 mins or so.....how far off the peloton is Bennett?

Sagan hanging on the back of it somehow

Come on Roche... Keep the chasing group going... This could be big for Sam...

How long before the UCI ban using the computer and mount as a clip on aero bar?

    I'd be delighted for Hirschi.

He can't chase another Sunweb rider.

And in case it does come back, he should keep his powder dry.

    I'd be delighted for Hirschi.

I really hope Alaphillipe doesn't snipe him again...

    5 km to go
    Fingers crossed for Hirschi

I'm torn - want him to keep driving so as many of that group stay ahead of the peleton to minimise Sagan's points gain but Hirschi deserves the win.

Brian Smith on Eurosport is doing his best to jinx Hirschi

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,251 ✭✭✭CantGetNoSleep

Looking like 11 may stay ahead of the main group until the end which is fantastic

Agreed... I think we are going to get the result we want... I say Sagan was pretty tried as well, even if they got him to the line he wouldn't be up for much...

Finished at the head of the peloton - 12th?

I make it 5 points, which means all his effort was to pull back 3 points total on Sam. Good result

13th for Sagan, 4 points at the end closes the gap on Sam by 2 from yesterday.

Great work by Nicolas Roche chasing down Alaphilippe nd co to disrupt the chase

Hirschi deserved that win ..could go on and get KOM too

So Sagan got 4 points on the line so he gained 2 back on Bennett overall today.
