    Hi Guys,

I'm looking to possibly buy (Apple iPhone X, 256GB, Space Gray, (Locked to Apple ID), IMEI No: 359410083828630)

As you can see it's locked to apple ID:

    listing.wmimage?vp=8A0ZswjsCTvhE%2fYvpYkKmE3vWi9IIsONJQdbXR%2fPpOr0vBZUJ3phk%2fqKLKh8KJWMP%2b2PLhVnkaShZOfCjB%2b0j5QXIfpd%2bZNhx2qksDOMjHoEl2IS073Y7Q%3d%3d&wm=626%2b0coGcasK5cRdBLpoir0iv2V22zvu5%2fYZpr%2b82AA%3d&w=640

How easy is it to get it working again? If I use my current 6+ is should work or you can just go ahead and set it up manually?

    Any advice be great.

need to get the apple ID removed by the owner of the apple ID via their iCloud account...

    Thanks Captcha!

That may prove difficult given this would be an auction purchase and previous owner not around etc lol.

Is the phone now essentially about as good as one with a blacklisted imei?

Pretty much. It's either a lost or stolen iPhone.

At least with with a blacklisted IMEI you could still use the phone via WIFI. the activation lock can only be removed by either the owner of the Apple ID or if you have the original proof of purchase.

Thanks Lads the info is all golden and good to know - these phones pop up from time to time at government auctions some are fine not locked to apple id or blacklisted but they also tend to go for top end of what you'd pay 2nd hand anyways - that's auctions for you lol.
