There have been countless predictions like yours over the years on this forum, to my recollection none have been correct. Also I've never seen any poster who made the prediction admit they were incorrect, typically they claim it was "just a dry run", etc and pick a new prediction. That continues for awhile, then they fade away.

Going back a few years and Trump was going to lift the lid on the "establishment" when he got in, then it was after the last election , then it just rolled on.........

Then how many similar ones were there over the years about various other things?

They were fined for consuming alcohol on the beach according to the source article. Three seperate fines, i presume for 3 seperate people for 135e each

The National Gendermerie have been doing patrols long before Covid hit, they are one of the two armed police forces in France. Their presence has been more prominent since the 2015 Paris Terrorist attacks, It has been a normal sight in France for a number of years. Its nothing to do with the Covid Pandemic

what I was also going to mention....


every public place in France has heavy police presence with heavy support due to the latent domestic terror threat.... as with Belgium .... sure there's troops in full combat gear patrolling pre covid in Brussels and Paris and other major domestic cities...

closer to home, there are police in most major UK city now who have a patrol like this.... again due to terrorism ....

the weren't "deployed" against the family, get a grip, or maybe educate yourself with a trip to the continent after your vaccine or negative covid test...

Guns are not being "deployed", as another poster explained, the French police are armed. In this case 17 police were deployed to form a line and walk up the beach and tell everyone to wear masks, many of whom weren't wearing masks or were even aware of the rule. Unpopular or not, it's to reduce the spread of Covid which is rapidly increasing in France again.

French police carry pistols. The Gendarmerie can carry pistols And military style rifles. Terrorist attacks in France have increased dramatically in the last decade.
