They're more free than people are in Europe, but that's not hard when people in Europe have practically zero freedom. Or, any tiny bit of freedom they have, comes with a mask, gloves, face shields, QR codes, or any of the other nonsense people are being forced to accept.

    Talk about over exaggerating.

Would you prefer all the elderly, those with compromised immune systems, and some other random people that have no underlying illness wiped out worldwide by a pandemic, or would you prefer for as many as possible to remain alive through temporary restrictive measures? If you got for the former, you would be a great reset supporter, if you go for the latter you argue against yourself.

We are required to wear masks, that's it. You seem terrified of QR codes also. Where are they mandatory. Can you explain what they are?

But I didn't say that the Australian police force was tyrannical. I said that the police in Victoria were behaving like tyrants and tyrannically. Putting muzzles on protesters, assaulting protesters (granted, it takes two to tango), terrorising people about masks, marching down the streets every day intimidating people.

That man and the people from Poland who commented on the article said it was worse than, or comparable to, Communist Poland. They experienced both, so their opinion has to carry weight. He describes in the article why he felt the way he did. He gave specific examples.

Police doing their jobs when a small minority of people are breaking the law is hardly behaving tyrannically but it depends on your perspective. If you think it's about control it might explain why you see it the way you do. If you believe it's about limiting the spread of a virus that has been proven to have very bad effects in numerous countries around the world then you might see it differently.

Their opinion carries no weight in my opinion. The 2 things can't be compared. They happened for very different reasons and are in no way related.

I'm over exaggerating and you're talking about the elderly and others being wiped out worldwide? Hardly anyone has died of covid in the world. It's a media driven pandemic. Would you honestly have noticed there was a pandemic in Ireland, specifically, were it not for the media? I can honestly say that I wouldn't have.

What evidence is there that they are temporary?

Would you prefer, as is happening at present, that people died of cancer because of cancelled appointments due to the covid obsession (31 and 24 year old young mothers in the UK recently), that millions more died of starvation because of lockdowns as a result of the covid obsession, and that future generations were saddled with huge levels of debt because of the covid obsession?

That's not just it. We are also encouraged to snitch on our neighbours. We are required not to socialise, not to go near one another, not to travel.

In London QR codes are mandatory in many places.

I'm not terrified of them. I don't know how many times I can say that I am not afraid of them. I am terrified of Health Passport Ireland. You can focus on that, if you prefer. QR codes, while annoying, are nothing as compared with the Chinese-style Health Passport Ireland.

Currently sitting outside a lovely little coffee shop, wore mask while I ordered it and now am maskless. Going to a nice pub later for dinner, will wear mask to go in, once seated I will order/pay for food and drinks via an app and it will be bought to my table.

Damn if only I could do all of this without having to wear a mask I would have so much more freedom

They weren't doing their jobs. They were terrorising people and bullying people. So bad were things there that it prompted a Polish man to compare it with Communist Poland.

And for those who find masks oppressive and government overreach?

Look at how miserable what used to be 'walk in the door and buy food' has become.

You specifically said we are required to wear gloves, masks and a bunch of other stuff. That is wrong.

QR codes are not mandatory. That is an outright lie.

Okay, so I imagined the mandatory QR codes in those places in London. I also imagined being refused service because of the mandatory QR code.

We are required to wear masks to do most thing. I never mentioned gloves.

How exactly did they terrorise people?

Do you believe that prayer is enough to end covid19?
There are only 2 countries which don't report figures North Korea and Tanzania. Not testing or reporting figures doesn't equal the end of coronavirus.

How's it miserable? I prefer it, beats standing at a bar waiting to be served imo.

It’s just not true. You don’t have to scan the QR code literally anywhere and there is no one checking that you do it.

Do I have to download the NHS Test and Trace app (is it mandatory)?

The NHS Test and Trace app is entirely voluntary and you can choose whether or not to download it. You can also uninstall and delete the app whenever you like.

You were refused service for failing to provide contact details (if this happened at all).

    Stop lying.

It may be different in the part of Europe you are in. In the part of Germany I'm in the only thing that is open is food shops and your not allowed visit family/friends.

In the north of Germany (not sure if its the same in all Germany) if you don't use an app, every restaurant you go too you have to leave your name/address when you were there.

Okay, maybe I exaggerated a bit, but it was extremely intimidating for people to have the police marching up and down the street watching everybody.

The President of Tanzania said it was enough. I mentioned Tanzania to show that prayer could be tried in other countries. He says it worked.

    Lol.
You're telling us that we should ignore scientists and experts because they're all in on the conspiracy and instead, we should just try to pray covid away.

Please continue, you are debunking and undermining your position better than anyone else can.

I never said we should pray covid away. I'm saying that that was the policy in Tanzania.

I never said scientists and experts were in on it.

Ok. So then prayer has no effect?

Ok. Then why are all the scientists and experts who disagree with you wrong?

According to the President of Tanzania it had a huge effect because God heard the people's prayers and rid the country of covid.

I never said they were wrong. You keep claiming I said things that I didn't say. I believe they are overstating the threat and focusing too much on case numbers.

According to north Korea's last leader he once played golf and got 8 hole in ones, do you believe him?

Where do you get this notion that police were marching up and down the street intimidating people? There may have been a police presence but the Australian police force don't have the numbers to be marching up and down every street in Victoria. Have you any idea how big Victoria is by the way?

If Tanzania release official figures this might be taken seriously. Until then it can't be believed.

In a roundabout way religion may play a part. Between 35% and 50% of the population of Tanzania are Muslim. As part of their religion the women wear face coverings and tend not to mix as much with other people. Do you agree that this might limit the spread of covid19?

Dodged the question as per usual. That's very very dishonest of you.
Do you believe prayers have an effect? Do you believe the President of Tanzania is correct?
    Yes or no?

Ok. So why are they over stating the threat?
You said they weren't in on the conspiracy, so why would they be doing this?
You are now also saying they aren't wrong.

So if they aren't lying and they aren't incorrect, why do you disagree with them?
