    This is a God awful game. Congratulations to those who took the gamble on Wilson. Even at 6.5 I wouldn't have trusted him.

    He got a goal or assist in each of the first 8 games last season, unfortunately for him and Bournemouth he didn't do much after that

    Something happened there which destroyed team spirit. Wilson could reawaken with a new beginning.

    It was no gamble at 6.5 given the options at that price and Newcastle's fixtures.
    Also, Bruce has bought well this summer. I think Newcastle could do ok...for the first few months at least

    Not buying it. It's easy to say that in hindsight now that he's scored. I'd have put Mitro, Antonio and Bamford all ahead of him at that price. Still probably would over the course of the season.

    I have Mitro too. Not a chance would I touch Bamford even after that goal today

    I'm keeping Mitrovic for another week at least. He's got a decent fixture in the next two. If he's goalless by then, be rightfully gone

    Banford has nothing in his past that says he will be a good option. Liverpool defence was shockingly poor today. He'll be easily shut out by most Premiership defences this season. He is a trap. I wouldn't touch him.
