I think most people respect self made people, people that work for what they have. I'm not anti British but for example I don't get the fawning over someone like Prince William. What has he done all his life, he would probably shrivel up and die if he had to fend for himself.

But most self made people are decent, respectable people. McGregor certainly isn't. Making money does not give you carte blanche to act like a thug

I'm one of the camp that liked Conor when he came on the scene, was delighted for him when he got his first prize money (60k I think it was) and how much it meant to him. Then he went big time and I still liked him, even up to the time he lost his first fight, can't remember opponents name. A bit arrogant but thought it was just part of the act and that was fine.

But then the scumbag behaviour came out. The assaults that made the papers and the other assaults that didn't. He assaulted my cousins friend on a night out for example. And the cocaine and drug binges. And then the multiple allegations of sexual assault where I don't think there can be that much smoke without fire. Now I can't stand him. Even calling for lockdown on that cringey WhatsApp video. He's just a complete embarrassment now.

He was always a scumbag. This is someone who spoke about carrying a brick around in his school bag in case he needed it in a fight. What kind of centred human being would even consider an action like that. Saying he changed is ignoring all the evidence. He's just a famous version of what he always was.

You're almost right there - Floyd done next to nothing. However he still KO'ed McGregor without hardly breaking a sweat. :pac:
