I was actually wondering about restaurants. Was thinking Hamptons one night but the next is open

I'm a fan of Rossi's, the Locke Bar (it's next door) or a mix of both... brother loves The Texas Steakout. Good value to be had.

For pints... if we are post-Covid restrictions... (and if they are back open) I'm fond of 'Mother Macs' as I know the 2 brothers who run it. A proper pub. With great beers. https://mothermacs.ie/

You could also check out the swanky/modern "101" (multiple bars, one venue) for a bite/drink. https://101limerick.com/

Also a shout for a "Treaty City" brewery tour... Limerick's very own brewery. https://treatycitybrewery.ie/

And ye could do worse than a stroll around the grounds of the University of Limerick. My Sunday morning walk...

Pery's Hotel, formerly the Glentworth, might be worth a look. 3***,central location, restaurant and bar, good reviews.

Second only to the Boutique Hotel for being a kip.

Think I’m going to go with the Strand. I don’t mind paying a bit for a nice hotel.

The Locke bar looks really nice as well.

I stayed in the George this weekend. Got a king room for 59 per night. They had a promotion on 1000 rooms between now and December for 59 a night. The offer ended last Monday but I got it when I emailed Wednesday. Might be worth sending a mail or giving them a ring. It was a front line workers offer - for anyone that worked during lockdown apparently
