Aidan Regan from the Sunday business Post...is he a Shinner in a suit?

Supposed to be a paper for the capitalists, aka the grown ups of society. Yet every week Regan appears sprouting some lefty nonsense which suspiciously just happens to chime with SF populist left policy. Universal Basic Income being his latest crusade. Sure why don't we give the welfare class even more welfare, what could possibly go wrong.

Can we "out him" the way people were outed as commies in the 50's?

Has he ever hidden the fact he’s a Sinn Fein “supporter”?

I should point out that “Universal Basic Income” is the height of Capitalism. It’s, literally, paying people directly to shop.

The SBP has taken a broad left, soft Nationalist - or further left/further Nationalist depending on the era - editorial approach since the day it was founded. If anything it has pulled its furthest to the centre on both issues since Kilcullen bought it.

You appear to be making an inaccurate assumption off the title of the paper.

Maybe that's true about the editorial stance but you couldn't claim the other columnists are left...Lucinda Creighton etc.

Lucinda is there as the token right winger on that page. Her column is often opposite Pat Rabbitte!

She effectively replaced Michael McDowell in that role; McDowell's official column was taken by Matt Cooper in print layout terms of course.
