Its hard not to enjoy this track, its feel good and its funky, making you bop your head. Its infectious and it will stay in your head…. In a good way. Great choice.

This is so catchy, stuck in my head now, it's used in an ad too

I did think maybe it was Jonas Bros :o

I like Mark Owens voice but I dont think this track was suited to him. When Gary steps in it improves. Its nice, nothing spectacular so far but the build to the chorus and the chorus are fine but it pales in comparison to other TT tracks post comeback. Not a huge fan sadly Liz.

I should have picked something more older up beat by them and got outta the garden :D I'm only 34 points behind the leader easy to catch up :P

    Oh boo yourselves :D

20 mins and I can continue with round 5.....

Man this was a hard round to judge, I loved the majority of the songs. Even the ones which placed 17th and upwards are very good songs.

    Some blew my mind.

I enjoy the original but its not one of my fav LDR tracks, however I do enjoy this cover and admittedly its much better than the original IMO. The track benefits from the faster pace and the vocals are well suited to the quicker tempo. A very enjoyable cover that could have placed higher but for the top tunes present in the round. Thumbs up.

Never heard of this cover and glad its not a cover of the Rihanna hit (not a fan of that track).

Its quite a change of style from the original, but it works. Its chilling and delivered in such a haunting way thanks to the vocals. Is it better than the original? Its a completely different take and a far cry from the original, but I really like what Portishead have done here. Good stuff!

Again it is a very good song but suffers from the love I have for songs above it.

I like the original and I like Marylin Manson, so when this was released I had high hopes and it didn't disappoint. Its not MM’s best work, but its helped him bridge the gap in becoming more mainstream.

A fine nu-metal cover, and one I quite enjoy. I like the guitar riffs and Manson isn't too shouty, something that I feel he is guilty of on other tracks, which always appealed to me.

A solid cover and one I really enjoy.

A lovely song, Mumford and Sons can be hit or miss for me. But this one is a fine cover track, and they put their own huckleberry twist on The Boxer. Their music is made for storytelling and this song tells an intriguing story. Combined, the song works. Good choice.

Once again, I enjoy it but I couldn't place it higher.

I like NIN, but i wasn't a huge fan of hurt. That said, Johnny Cash makes it his own. Cash’s covers are very hit and miss, but this one suits him much better than I would have thought. Cash’s voice gives this track more emotion and you really feel it was a song made for him. Good choice which improves on the original. Thumbs up Liz.

Batshıt crazy Ben Wheatley film (not that crazy by his standards). Stars Tom Hiddleston. Life in a "perfect" tower block deteriorates fast. It's not great to be honest, but it is unique

One of Seal’s better tracks IMO, and this cover has big shoes to fill.

So its grunge and its got a decent sound to it. I must say I like it as it settles in and this version is as easy to enjoy as the original, though I must say I feel the chorus could be stronger and doesn't pack the same punch as the original. Maybe a better band could do a better version and its not improving on the Seal hit, but as covers go this one is quite good.

A great track and one I’m a fan of. Love both the Genesis original and this track is a fine cover which suits the sound of Disturbed very well. I honestly can't tell which version I like more, I am a fan of this one. The video is pretty cool too. Great cover.

A feel good dance track with a cool video, what's not to like. It gets a bit repetitive, as do most pop dance tracks, but overall it's a nice tune that ages well. It transports me mentally to a summer holiday (remember those) and for that I appreciate it.

Not strong enough to place higher, but a good track nonetheless.

    Great video too.

Yay a new band. The original is one of my earliest memories and I am very fond of the Bangles track.

This cover is haunting and a slower take on the original. I enjoy the slower tempo and while I dont think it improves on the original, it doesn't suffer from comparison either. A fine, enjoyable cover.

Sadly other strongd just were better. A really fine cover.

A great track. I love the Prince original and Sineads voice only improves the song, making it iconic in the process. Its a wonderful track, so great choice. Timeless cover that Sinead made her own.

    Great stuff.

I know the original well, never knew it was a Kate Bush cover (Love running up that hill).

Song brings back fond memories of bopping in a drunk haze on the Whelans dancefloor. It's an easy listen, it's catchy and has me nodding my head in approval. Good choice. It might have placed higher but I liked most songs in this round and suffers from the love I have for other tracks. Still a good tune.

Man I never heard this song before, but it’s got my attention straight away. Loving it on first play through and makes me wanna search for it shortly after. The alternating light and heavy changes work very well and the vocals are chillingly good. Big fan.

Very close to getting into the top 3, but sadly just misses out.
