Fantastic to see cappoquin transport sponsor the senior football team with a kit van.

Dont think I've seen the senior footballers get this type of sponsorship before.
Fair play to the sponsor and whoever arranged this deal.

Can you actually post something constructive on this thread for once or is that beyond you?

You are right and I know the answer. Was trying to make it known that he is p1ssing everyone off with his snarky comments

I refer you to Mark Twain (I believe he played minor for Missouri):

“Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.”

Best of luck to the footballers this weekend. Only one win away from promotion. Would be quite an achievement for Shane Ronayne in his first ever competition with the team

    It's the following weekend

Yep it would be a great achievement if we could get the win. Antrim would be a level above but never know

    Played club, didn't play intercounty.

From what I read at the time the suspension would stand if it wasn't appealed. I'm presuming they didn't appeal it.

Just the one player from runaway senior county champs. Interesting if nothing else.

Cahill not giving much away in terms of what his team for championship will be. Changing it around a fair bit

Are Ballygunner just a great team that are better than the sum of their parts or is there something more to it? No other team can get close to them for years but only one starter on the county team?

It does seem like a good spread of clubs on the team and they did make the final last year so Cahill must be doing something right.

Is there any Ballygunner players who would feel hard done by not to be on the panel?

You could probably name 14 of the 15 starters at this stage . The loss of Tadgh is huge ,Austin will have to play there as Daly isn't ready yet . Not sure where Kieran Bennet will play but he is a starter .

Be nice to get the win

Breathless after that. Defence asleep for 3rd goal. Galway midfield have taken over.
