What about those of is who have worked hard every single day of our lives, gotten degrees, studied, achieved things, improved everything they can improve, yet are still paid like absolute dog sheit with no prospects? All the while the rich get richer in this country without hardly breaking a sweat?

You know nothing of hard work and injustice. Nothing.

Probably should look for another job. Most degrees are useless in the job market, everyone knows that.

They still don't justify doing it so it's not exactly s horrifying statement. Meanwhile you actively downplayed an attack where a person ended up with stitches in their head. So your rhetoric it's coming across far worse.

I'm not overly concerned about your interpretation or opinion to be honest Protonmike.

I'd rather discuss this incident and the reaction around it.
    Thanks

Interesting to see the people downplaying this.

She deserves to be prosecuted. No question about that.

Will anyone attempt to claim this was just a ‘peaceful protest’?

What a waste of resources, I wonder will it go the way of Joan's brush with mortality (AKA the consequences of her own actions).

Hopefully does. This is an appalling display. Varadkar despite everything has done a reasonable job.

I'm well over 40 and skate all the time, been doing so since I was 6.

The sad thing about this girl is I'd bet she couldn't ride that thing for 5 ft without milling herself.

Especially with the way she runs, not a hope can she skate.

    Pure poser.

No, because this type of thing is encouraged by those dickless lunatics known as the Connolly Youth Movement.

You want a prison sentence for someone throwing coffee on someone else. What if someone threw coffee over you, do you think they’d go to prison.

Scalding Coffee is capable of scarring someone for life.

Please answer me, if someone threw coffee at you and it scarred you for life, would you be happy if they avoided a prison sentence?

The people defending Varadkar or Martin or anyone in government here are the disgrace. We are being absolutely destroyed left right and center by this government, everything is taken away from us while they party it up golfing breaking every last one of their rules, and you are outraged at coffee? Joke.

The left want a harsher lockdown ffs.

Right, so why then do some of us spend 4-8 years of our lives fighting for a degree? If it's all for nothing, all a complete waste of **** time (it is indeed, it's not a question) then the government that defends the university institutions in Ireland need a hell of a lot worse than coffee thrown in their face. The fault is not with young people fresh out of school who get fooled and caught in nets of lies, the problem is with vultures and thieves in academia who then are defended and directly supported by the government.

What a f**king stupid post. Were Varadker or Martin at that golfing break? Did they pressure those who were there to resign their positions?

Yeah, we're all having to sacrifice a bit at the moment. Some more than others and a lot more than me. You'd be fairly dumb to think that they are doing it in anything other than what they believe to be best for the country though.

You may disagree with their decisions, that's fair enough. But inferring they're making them to control us while they're off playing golf is just ignorant.

PBP want an eternal lockdown. It’s Boyd-Barrett’s wet dream to have everyone on the mega dole, picking their arses all day.

Absolute scumbag. The era of "it's ok to physically assault people we don't agree with" is beyond f*cked up. I hope she gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but I have little faith in that happening when you consider the literal rapists and violent burglars who get suspended sentences in this country...

Unnecessary, wanton act, as was the one on Justin Barrett. Watch the hypocrites react to this.

Because we have the freedom to make our own choices. What you think that we should only offer regimented college courses which are useful to the job market?

I’ve a feeling you did a degree that’s not very useful and now you’re sour about it. Try springboard, they offer ICT conversion courses to make job seekers more attractive to prospective employers.

I’m working full time and starting a masters next week actually. Should have it done in 18 months.

Just a pity it wasn't a horse-semen pie. It would do politicians a lot of good, to know that creating economic conditions that make the country unaffordable for most upcoming generations, makes people hate you - and that they are not unreachable by the public.

Politicians without fear for the consequences of their policies, are a very bad thing. If more politicians had vulgar personal rebuke for their horrendous corruption and life-destroying policies - then the country would be a more vulgar, yet likely better run place. He is an awful human being - and the person throwing the drink drawing more vitriolic offence, than Leo himself - is absurd.

I don't find it in the least bit funny.

This type of crap is actually an attack on all our public representatives, regardless of where or who you align with politically.

Imagine if that was acid, scalding hot or otherwise?

Indeed. One might also suggest you're not much of a poster boy for real humanity either!

Even by your pie-in-the-sky standards that's pretty dumb.

Go into politics yourself, horse, instead of writing foot long posts that nobody reads.

No, you actively compared the attacks and seemed to view one as deserving or 'asking for it' by counter protesting.. Meanwhile you're playing up this incident from all angles when in general it's been roundly condemned outside of a handful of tweeters...

Ah, there we go. Is that what you would say to everyone who lost their job in the pandemic then? "Too bad your degree is useless for the situation, why don't you get a better one before you can eat?" No? So why are you saying that to those of us who were screwed over by academia?

    Extreme double standards there.

I have done everything in this life to improve. There is no more blood left in my bones. Don't be lecturing me.

It's certainly a socialist, many of them are on twitter cheering it. A woman in 20s/30s on a skateboard dressed in such a manner throwing a drink on a FG politician is unlikely to be "right wing".
