They've played Liverpool in the Community Shield and beat them albeit on penalties.

While I know most people don't class that as anything substantial it's still a competitive game for silverware. Arsenal also outclassed Chelsea in the FA Cup final a few weeks before that so Arteta is definitely making progress there.

In saying all that, I have shipped Auba out for KDB as I think KDB will outscore him by a fair bit over the next six given the fixtures.

After contemplating WC I settled for a -8 of Alli, PEA, and Soucek out for KdB, JamRod and Podence. My conservatism has cost me on TV (Alli fall, KdB rise) so I wanted to move before further damage was done. I know the jury is out on Podence game time long term, but I'm hoping he's good short term, and can see myself using the WC in the not too distant future.

Their big game form under Arteta has been good

Beat Liverpool at the end of last season
Beat City in the cup semi final (Auba with 2 goals)

Done PEA to KDB already before the price change. Am holding on doing the exact same second transfer.

Defensive issues already. Only two guaranteed starters for the weekend. with Egan suspended. Tierney is looking promising to play but want to be sure.

You could leave as is and see how the weekend goes- no doubt next week Bruno, Greenwood, Kane or Martial be the player people want. So it's good to have some money in the bank.

Alternatively i would upgrade Robbo to TAA, and upgrade Martinez to like Ederson. I think that will even leave you with some money.

I've had him since the start and my plan is to take out for Jimi.

Hoping for a nice parting gift from him after WBA.

Will Jimenez & Werner out score Fernandes & Richarlison by 16 points ?

Because I’m really close to going -16 to make that transfer.

I could easily see a couple of 2’s or 3’s from the former pair and maybe a combined 20-25 pointer from the other 2.

Brighton and Palace could keep things tight. West Ham and WBA are unlikely to.

Think I’d prefer them going forward too and will definitely have to take a -4 next week to get Jimenez in anyway.

No advice from LMS league members necessary. Yes that last line is a joke.

Edit, the -16 would also give me a first sub that I don’t have now

Mad how different we are seeing it.

Palace are proving to be no pushovers and United looked lethargic last week.

West Ham have looked vulnerable and WBA are relegation waiting to happen and will most likely concede the most or second most amount of goals this season.

I don’t think the hit is worth it personally, but Werner looks like he will score goals and Jimi is as reliable as it gets.

On the other side, I like Richarlison, but as a regular owner, he can often underperform in FF terms. As for Bruno, the jury is out. He hasn’t scored a non penalty goal in Man Us last 9 games. I know penalties are part of the game, but the level they were getting them at is unsustainable.
