I came up against one guy and he was miles ahead of me. One of the best players I played against this year.
He has freeze Dembele and ASM and those two players are broken as hell. Regardless he whipped me 8-3 , he was playing 442 with both up front.

I was under the impression it was the gap between your wins and losses. So if you're 3 wins 2 losses you'd be +1 and face similar. But if you're 10 wins 3 losses you'd be +7 etc. etc.

Rinsed my club of fodder and put everything through the 81+ player picks, didn't get anything worth keeping but enough decent fodder to complete Rooney and Jones SBCs and managed to finish off My Base/Mid Icon pack.

Base/Mid was another L unfortunately, Mid Bergkamp. The dutch flag is such a tease.

WL is not for me, cant win a game, got to 10 last week, not a chance this week, 1st im clearly not good enough, its why i never play it after week 5 or 6, meeting 90+ ovr teams players are bamboozling me with skill moves and then im conceding bags of goals where the ball deflects 5-10 yards in tackles that leave my players out of position and opposition players through on goal

I'll pack it in now for the rest of the weekend and play squad battles tomorrow, at least i'll win there, haha

Been on a pack opening spree since Friday - hoping to hit something good with the release of Future Stars 2 but obviously EA are not playing ball!

Have opened 20 Pemium Gold Players packs - zero walk outs and nothing better than a couple of 84’s.

8 Jumbo Premium Gold packs - best was an 86 Veratti, who was my only walk out and looking back there was a 133 pack gap between him and my previous last walk out (a 86 Sommer). It’s kinda bad when the only walk out you get is by doing Gundogan’s POTM!

Done 4 more 81+ Player Picks. Got 87 Suarez in one but nothing better than a 83 in the rest and of the 12 players on offer 8 were duplicates including a triple duplicate pack!!

Opened some other assorted packs and an 84 was the best. Pack weight (for me anyway) is practically zero.

On the plus side - almost tripled my sold players list and now up to 610k in coins which is the highest ever amount of coins I had.

Never play on a Friday as it’s normally the high skilled and streamers getting all their games over and down with it.
The skill curve is far higher.
Saturday and Sunday is best.

I'd recommend that Reinier card btw. Unlocked the 85 last night, swapped him in for Mbappe, playing LM in a 442 and he felt just as good. Had kinda thought Mbappe was wasted at LM anyway so I've sold him.

Started 6-0 in WL so the 85 card was holding its own at a decent level. Will do the 87 over time

Should I stick or twist? These cards usually hold their value?

Disappointed that there was only one Academy Objective card released. Last year we got Osimhen, Odegaard and Zaniolo at the same time iirc? And then Dan James a few days later? Hopefully they will release another couple over the course of the week.

He can either replace Kante and it still keeps Virgil on 7 chem and allows me to bring back in Dest.
Or I could sell mid and buy baby Puskas and bring in Rooney with Jones alongside Kante.
Here’s the kicker. I played a game about 1am last night and the servers were silky smooth.
Felix felt amazing , indeed all the players felt so slick on the ball and I absolutely hammered the guy 8-1.

If anyone has a ton of the conembol cards, it’s worth checking their prices. Sold a couple of them <74 rated for 1k-2.5k each. Nice and easy 30k in the bank from junk in the club.

Got it done, easy enough but very time consuming, you’ve to score with yer man in 22 separate online friendlies in total and in those 22 matches only 1 person quit when I was ahead because everyone in same boat, they’re hanging around cos they need the goal.
Got the wins requirement done quick enough though so after that I just rubberbanded as soon as I scored and watched Netflix, came back a few mins later, game done, rinse and repeat

Jesus, I’m addicted to those player picks. Done about 15 today and at least half were walkouts... only had maybe 3 that were 81 or 82 :pac: rinsing commons into gold upgrades for the rares at this stage.

I'm going to be the first D1 player to fail to make gold 3. Since I packed Mane and complete EOAE Rooney and put them on my bench late last night, I can't win a game. The standard feels way higher than D1 rivals. Only on 6 wins and already nearly have more losses than any other WL I've played.

Had a great start to WL last night getting 5 games in going 3-1. Grealish was playing like prime Kaka and everything was looking good.

Today has been a nightmare, think I’m 4-9 now. Had 8 losses in a row, although two were annoying disconnections. Taking a break for the evening in the hope that the matchmaking gods calm down.

Played some rivals to see how the 532 would work, worked perfectly, players playing to the tactics, everybody doing what they should, 6 wins in a row, but this game makes no sense, Griezmann 87ovr doing nothing for me in 3 of the games, so i play Coutinho in the next 3, 6 goals 5 assists, 87 v 83

Then, now im not a great believer in chem but i play a lad who has a PL team, no dutch players but his CB is Klaiber, must have -50 chem ha, and yet he's his best player by a mile, ai monster in defense

Pretty nice , not sure if i make the most of him but he’s getting insane reviews and I’m enjoying using him.
I was gonna do Rooney but I’ve dropped Felix and using Figo as CAM who’s stronger especially with an anchor chem.
Which I just realised I just changed him to Hunter so will have to switch him back to anchor or someone thing for the strength boost .
So it means I can bring in Mane or Son on the left wing instead of Rashford.

Servers have been a nightmare for me this weekend. Played some games last night and kept getting lag that caused me to freeze for 5 seconds at a time. Same again this morning.

Switched to hotspot on my phone and it’s surprisingly better which I don’t understand considering my speed tests on wifi ran at 250mbps and 15 ping.

I loved Ramos..are you talking about his base or toty?
I would have seriously preferred to get his toty instead of Virgil as I had untradeable TSG, Varane, Dest and Acuna.
I found Ramos's base excellent and he was always there to intercept. His pace could get him caught but he's extremely fast to turn and run back.

Base blazer, i cant afford anything else haha, yeah his agility is far better then Virgils, that helps against fast strikers i think

Finding Jones really excellent now. I'm using him as a CDM paired with Kante and he's brilliant as breaking the gameplay up, winning the ball, killer passes etc. Everything I expected Kante to be and who's not.

As long as he's paired with Varane etc he'll be fine with a shadow.
Out of all the toty this year Ramos/Messi were the ones I wanted most as he would have been a direct replacement for my base Ramos and Messi could have taken up my LW slot which was weak.

Puskas ripping teams asunder really. Its my own defending costing me games.
The more I use him the more skills etc I'm starting to use with him to get past defenses and score.
Coming from the left hand corner for a short pass he's incredibly lethal getting in the box and scoring across goals. He's scored 4/5 goals like that this weekend and 2 of those were last minutes goals to win the match. One of the matches he did it twice in 10 mins to bring me back from 3-2 down to 4-3.
I'm hoping they do an icon swap for him.
Regardless of which card it is all of them are end-game tier and even though I'd prob take a 300-400k hit on his mid etc if it was I still wouldn't mind.

I had that yesterday. Drove me nuts so I just played dayz instead.
It was ridiculous.
What formation /tactics are you using.
4231 is a good one for normal level players.

Curtis Jones is quality. Using him as my RCM in a 532. His passing is really impressive, strength on the ball, going forward. He’s a great box-to-box for me, and it allows me to play Rooney up top, where he’s most effective.

Also sold off my two West Brom silvers to fund the 85 squad for him... had an untradeable electrum players pack in the store. Get back that West Brom
