I did him but haven’t really used him. Thought he would replace Gravenberch but Grav has been too good to drop - the +2 upgrade might help though

Leverkusen won 1-0 today as well so does that mean Wendell will get +2 as well for the clean sheet?

Man I loved Costa’s prime back in fifa 18. He really was a superb card.
It’s farcical how much EA have ruined all these icons that don’t fit the game meta now.
90% of the icons are basically useless.

Depends on your play style. He's a fantastic finisher and his movement off the ball is top tier. If you like a target man there's none better. I'd compare him to CR7 a bit.

Doing the eredivisie obj in friendlies, and jesus what is wrong with the gameplay this morning, Van Bergen cant out pace players with pace in the 70-75 range while in WL and Rivals he's ripping up players like Alba and Mendy

I found this yesterday, Friendlies was like playing in the mud but WL was really smooth.

I assume its the servers, really shoddy stuff.

This guy just ripped through my defense and I ended up losing 8-0 thanks to him.
I simply couldn't contain him. And I'm a div2 player ffs.

He does really well for me has about 10 goals in 11 sub appearances. Its his 5 star weak foot makes him really good i was using Bebou before him but only 3 star weak foot.

So glad I bought up all the cheap high rated goalkeeper fodder over the last 2 weeks. Made the Messi SBC was easier then I was expecting. He's been brilliant so far for me at CAM and can run him on 10 Chem with Gomez.

Currently 7-0 in weekend league and in the last game I went 4-0 to come back and win 6-5. You never feel like you are out of a game with him in the team.

Played 9 games this evening, win 3, lose 4, draw 2, in the wins my team is fantastic, playing to instructions, in the defeats they are absolute muck, Tello, Torres, Hazard, running like they in tar, in the draws they are a mix of both, very weird games

I just realized toty lewa is cheaper than my mid.puskas has anyone used both of them?

Just hit Gold 3 for the first time with 6 games to spare. I’ve hit 13 so many weeks so this is a great feeling.

Haven't used Puskas but have Toty Lewa. He is a pain in the hoop (for my team) to link up to full chem but is still never leaving my team. He's like a mobile cannon. Line him up and shoot=goal. He's a bit heavy/clunky on the ball but scores so many ridiculous goals. Lethal inside & outside the box off both feet, power shots, finesses shots, everything. Only 4* skills too.

Also seems to just be the luckiest player - the ball just falls to him consistently in the box. Scores so many goals where has no right to win the ball but just nicks it or outmuscles the defender.

His stats are ridiculous. I have a hawk on him so maxed out shooting and physicality:

Squad battles is an absolute joke tonight - 5 times out of 7 been kicked out saying I signed out. 5 times was winning but awarded a 3-0 loss each time - was trying to do the Silver objective for Icon Swaps so instead of being 5 of 6 am still at 0 of 6 - complete BS EA

Did this and got Pereyra, who only costs 80k on the market so not great. Used him as a supersub in WL though and was actually quite impressed 6 goals off the bench in my last 5 games to get Gold 1, so I'll take it.

Its just a pity that if its a LM and not Neymar it ain't getting used

I'm a rookie at this inform trading but I'm looking at the two 81 rated french players, both going for 12-13k, the CM has 94 pace and the other is a CB with other 81 french CBs going for 25k

Think these are good investments?

Went back to a more normal Balanced 41212 narrow for this weekend after several weekends experimenting with formations and tactics. Back to more normal results too. Finished 14-3.

The defeats were all by single goals - one I was totally outclassed the other 2 were tight. Came up against loads of amazing squads and top tier icons. The game I was outclassed in was a full gold meta team. Could see it coming a mile off!

Went for FBs as CBs. Kurzawa and Klaiber at CB - worked out well. Mukiele scored a good few from corners. Toty Neuer is staying. Good shot-stopper but so good to have a keeper that can use his feet well too. Dybala on Get Forward from the LCM position worked well too, making loads of late runs. Mane and Felix off the bench were match winners. Mane in particular seems to specialise in clutch goals.

Much better then last week came up against some huge teams again but didn't get battered so my goals conceded us alit better and more clean sheets.

Couldn't get puskas firing at all but Fati again with over 50 goals he is prabbly the best scoring striker ive ever used in all my years at ultimate team.

Really enjoyed my Weekend League, the additions of Messi and Gomez are just so much fun to play with.

Got to 18-4 and then of course manged to finish with 21-9 missing the ever elusive Elite 3 as usual.

Gameplay was weirdly stable for peek times on a Sunday until about 9pm when the gameplay became really bad. Unfortunately I had no choice but to try and play through it to get the games played which was always going to be impossible.

I paused it in the 78 min of my last game to try and freshen up the team and try something different. (My rank was already decided at this point) But I just had to laugh when I looked at all 4 of my attackers sitting on 77+ stamina with 10 mins left... it makes sense I suppose since they basically just become statues when the gameplay gets like that.

I found the key to get the best out of Messi is to actually fake people out, shaping that you are going for his really strong Finesse shots and the opponent normally manually take control of a CB to block it off and at that point you can slide someone in with a simple pass or try and dribble past the defence. Worked really nice most of the time.

He's great, i'd recommend doing him if you have the fodder/coins. The one thing that I was worried about was his stamina. But after playing the whole weekend league with him I found that he has no problems to complete the full 90 mins, probably needs to be substituted in Extra time depending on how much you are dribbling with him in game. I played him on Balanced defence in the CAM role too, so if you set him to stay forward he can probably do the whole 120min.

The difference to TOTY Messi is minimal and nowhere near worth the extra 2 Million coins. Plus as a CF he is really easy to get good chemistry while the RM version will force you to put a Right back in your team just to get him to 10 Chem.
