Oblak was there with Fekir, and three Turks with Kounde.

Fekir is utter tripe.

Granted I've only played two friendlies and I'm feeling nothing but delay the last two days, he just feels poor in everything.

Whenever I take a sprint with him, someone can run and get there and take it before a stride finishes.
Feels so slow.

I'll be popping him into an SBC anyway.

Playing him as a CAM in a 5212. He’s really fun. Proper brute of a player, bossing the area just outside the box.

What I wasn’t expecting was how great his free kicks are. He’s displaced Bruno for me. And the thing is, he can score rockets from a free a mile out, which I’ve never been able to do, and which opponents aren’t expecting.

Looking forward to trying him out tomorrow.

Decided to pull the trigger on the La Liga TOTS guarantee and it paid off - BENZEMA!!!! CF as well which fits in perfectly with my main team and La Liga team as he can play the CAM position.

Done well with the PL and LaLiga guarantees - Son and Benzema and can fit them both in!

I can't really complain about pack luck given how well I've done this season, but I did the 84 x 20 for the 3 icon swaps tokens and it was utterly horrific.

That 89 LB TOTS from the Turkish league which was a duplicate, a few 86's and the rest 84's and 85's. Mine was genuinely one of the worst 84 x 20 packs I've seen from the many I watched on YouTube and saw posted on Reddit.

Decided to throw a lot of them into the 85 x 5. Bernardo Silva the highest rated there and nothing else of note.

Then decided to blast through my club and fire everything 81 and under into the La Liga player pick upgrade. Generated about 60 picks, got TOTS Fekir, TOTS Moreno and gold Kroos with the rest low rated rubbish.

Threw TOTS Moreno and Kroos into the La Liga guaranteed SBC with Bernardo Silva and other fodder thinking I'd probably get Moreno back and ended up hitting Vasquez, who apart from Messi, Varane, Suarez and Benzema is the best option and Messi and Varane are not realistic as they are never coming out of that SBC so I was pleasantly surprised.

I really doubt I'll get much time to play anywhere near as much as we head into the summer so I think I'll take more risks with those SBC's and upgrades etc that come out and have a bit of fun that way.

Starting with doing the Moments pack for 5 tokens and I might throw a million into gold rares and commons to do a load of player picks during the rest of TOTS.

This is how I'm shaped up for the weekend.




Used the two swap tokens to get the 83x25 pack - which gave me the fodder to get Coutinho. Played a few games with him in rivals. Very impressive. He has silky smooth dribbling, gets any type of pass off and has some shot.
Got Isak, Suso and Carvalho completed. They seem really good cards. Suso looks good as a box to box and Carvalho isn't half bad either.
I've got Drogba playing as an attacking wing back. Isak is a far better card tbh but Drogba has H/H work rates and is a handful for any fullback with his power and pace so I'll give him a chance, given I drained my club for him a few weeks ago

That’s the temptation with investing in the gold rares.... so so tempting to just keep them and throw them all into upgrades instead of making the sensible decision and selling them. Did it many times last year :pac:

Opened up a load of packs last night - mainly premium gold jumbo ones, which had appeared at the top of my pack list on console so thought I’d give it a go and see if I could get a walkout never mind a TOTs.

Nothing of any note other than about 60 duplicates which I sent to my transfer list so I thought I’d try one last player pick. Finally came up trumps as got a La Liga TOTs but of course it was a duplicate Moreno so decided to throw them both into the Pique Flashback before it expires tonight.

Did anyone do him? He’ll go straight into my La Liga team and will replace base VVD in my main team alongside Koeman.

Can’t believe how much better the La Liga TOTs has been compared to the PL one

Couldn't recommend Coutinho enough. He's probably the best card I've used all year.

Been using Pique the last few games, v strong and great interceptions. I put a catalyst on him and haven't noticed an issue with pace, that being said the game has been laggy as all fcuk the last few days

I watched Inceptions review on Pique and he basically said that pace wouldn’t be an issue as long as you weren’t manually controlling him and if you let the AI do it’s thing then he would mostly be in position to defend.

Can’t say I’m too bothered about the pace - he’s 80 rated and can get boosted with a chem style and he’s faster than VVD and Koeman who I’ve been using for ages and they’re quick enough for me

Don't know is it just me or the lag but I'm playing absolutely terrible 2-2 scored about 7 goals 2 being pens . Lads I'm playing don't seem to be much better than me but doesn't seem to be an inch of space on the pitch.

Seems like EA want to drive them price of them up for now anyway.

I'm close to just giving up now.

I played someone there and was tripped, no peno, I have the clip.. its laughable.
He scored a minute later.
And in the second half Makekele stopped dead like my controller died but still passed and then in confusion I blasted it back towards goal and he scored.
Basically despite still moving him it was like I let go of the left stick.

He won 3-2 with two gifted goals.

Every pass leaves my foot when I release the button.
It's like playing NBA 2k on American servers.

I've reset the router and the ping per game meter makes no difference.

Went from 4-0 to 4-3 sitting through constant games of this same ****e.

I haven't played yet but Xbox server load has been terrible since the game came out for Gamepass. I'm watching hashtag_shawrey's twitch stream in the background. He is an xbox pro player and has already lost a game and was struggling with the gameplay in 2 games before even finishing his placement matches.

**First world problem alert**
Glad I kept Rooney in the startling line-up. Not sure Messi suits me a starting striker so I have him start as a LAM. I'd be selling him if I'd spent 4M coins on him. Atal is a far, far better player.

Messi's med/med workrates seem to mean that he makes fcuk all runs. The only benefit seems to be he ends up having loads of energy left on 60 mins when I sub off three of Neymar/Rooney/Atal/Matthaus. I put him upfront then and he does a load of damage against tired defenders. He's now level with Rooney on 5 goals each after 3 WL game. We'll see how he goes.

Skipped WL this week because of this, rivals was awful too. The whole game mechanics get messed because of it, opponent blocked a shot which flew the length of the pitch to his striker and scored.

Very close to just uninstalling at this point myself

German CM doesn’t require Bundesliga starting players so you can just sub on a German Bundesliga player with 4* skills.

Your starting lineup must be all silver anyway for silver beasts. I started early so still have some of that left to do, but I used silver Portuguese. You then just need to sub on a silver TOTW for silver beasts.

Yeah tbf midfield subs are what I have the most of... currently rotate between Bday Dalbert, Curtis Jones and Cucurella depending on if I need attacking/defensive midfield subs.

You won’t be able to combine Roussillon with anything as needs to be done in friendlies under Bundasliga Best.

You can though combine two of the swap tokens in squad battles by using silver teams of Portuguese or Eredivisie and then sub on a German or Bundasliga player to do parts of the TOTs Amiri.... oh and sub on a silver TOTW player to get the goals for Silver Beasts

Got Kaka late last night.

Seems an improvement on Mount, I found Mount better than TOTS Gundogan but after 40 games they had the same stats: about 10 assists and 7 goals.

Kaka has about 7 assists in 12 so an immediate improvement.

My team is difficult now as I've about 8 Untradable and my two best players are LW/RW and from different leagues.
Atal is my most 'important' player but Rodyrgo is ridiculously good and hes my best player.
His directional nutmeg seems better than most and he's a serious striker.

Using a 442 with Rodygro and Vardy up front.

He's the R.Sanches/Neres that most people have missed out on and don't know about.
As someone pointed out before, yes he only has 3 star week foot but it's not a deal breaker, I scored two off his left in a game last night.
