If you have the Xbox One or PS4 version of the game, you get the next gen versions for free. Any progress you've made on the old console transfers straight over to the new one (once you log into your EA account on it). it should just be a matter of redownloading the game from the relevant store, throwing your log in details up, and your stuff will be there. There might be a one time transfer needed, but it will likely be super straightforward.

If you're just buying the game for the first time, it will be a run-of-the-mill starting up of the game. No complications.

I ended up finishing 17/11. I went on a great run to go 13/5 but came up against a much better standard of player so 20 wins didn't happen.

I'll have a better idea of who to play where in the 3-5-2 next time, was choppping and changing a bit. Hazard is defintely at his best up front, done a lot of damage considering I didn't even play him or Alba for the six games.

Basically guaranteed to be Mbappe, of the 3 players he won the most games, scored the most goals, and tied for the most assists. The SBC will be outrageously overpriced for a very minor upgrade, I'm guessing 800k-1m more expensive than his tradeable gold card for an upgrade that's not much more than +1s and +2s across the board.

The assists with La Liga defenders is a pain. I've gotten 3 of them, but 1 didn't register.

On the flip side, I've been moving Marcelo to CAM in game and moving Navas to RAM. They've 7 goals between them in 2 games....

Just move some la liga cbs into cdm positions. I put Ramos, Varane in there and Mendy at lw in there and had it done without much hassle.

I just switched my full backs to the winger positions and got it done that way - think it was Trippier who got most of mine through crosses or cut backs

Yeah, what were they thinking. 10 bloody wins, but also 15 assists in separate friendly games. Cut out the wins and there might be better craic in games. I completed it, but I'm not even sure I'll use the card. God knows what icon swaps will be like, if that's a thing this year.

Thinking I might sell my whole team and just run with an untradable team for a while. It's a bit boring when my team and so many you come up against is made up of the same pool of 40/50 meta players.

I bring on Anderson Talisca into CAM and Inaki Williams into ST around 70 if needed and find it seems to do the job.

Yes, really annoying. When doing that objective there were games where I was 5-1 down and the guy is scything down players I've sent through from defender passes or just fouling a defender every time I get them on the ball in a decent area so I can't assist. It's really pathetic. I'm the opposite, if I know I have the win in the bag and there is 5-10 mins left I will just let someone get the goal/assist they are looking for.

On the bright side though I have 8/15 games played for the MLS Objectives. And also somehow have 8/10 wins. Am yet to lose with my crappy MLS team despite playing Loan Mbappé 2 of 3 games. Might just have to ditch my main team and move MLS full time.

Is there an expiry date for that MLS objective? I’d forgotten about that - been trying to do the Lique 1 Player one but that’s proving to be a pain - just turning out as who can use Mbappe (loan) better. Got involved in a crazy game last night 8-8 after extra time and lost on penalties, think Mbappe scored about 14 of the goals and the other guy just started the ball juggling trick whenever he went behind.

What is peoples experience of straight red cards in this years game?

It just occurred to me when I was cut down by a defender's slide tackle after going through the middle of the defence (just outside the box). In most other 1-1 with the goalkeeper I was in the box so when the ref gave a yellow and penalty I thought nothing of it. But it made me realise in several hundred games at this point I don't think I have seen a single straight red card.

A typical game finishes with my opponent having 1-2 yellow cards but having committed a huge number of fouls and a lot of time nothing is given or a only a split second advantage. Is there something I am missing or is that just the game this year?

I think to get a red, the attacking player has to be going in the exact direction of goal, if facing slightly to left or right its a yellow. Even if you have a guaranteed goal

I've had plenty of red cards in games since the update last week. Loved to hack someone down who was one-on-one and only get a yellow, so I have seen a red every few games since then!

This game is infuriating... countless times where I’ve won a clean tackle and for some reason, it bounces straight back to my opponent, my player is stuck in the lunging animation and he’s clean through. Just had a game there where it literally bounced off of my tackles 4 times in the box and he scores.

Not adjusting to this game at all, negative record still. Haven’t had it that bad since I started playing FIFA.

Same - I was 5-1 up in one game but clearly the person I was playing was trying to get assists with defenders so just moved my keeper out of the way and started spamming offside trap so he could get 3 of them.

Also, I hate that loan Mbappe - so sick of coming up against him & Cantona/Neymar. It would be great if they limited team rating as well as individual player rating for any objective lounges. Max player rating 84. Max team rating 77. Nobody wants a 90 Mbappe running at their 76 or 77 rated defenders.

At least it's not in rivals.

That rule break Inaki Williams is just broken. He glitched through four tackles in a game against me last night to score. It was like trying to stop the terminator.

I have a code for an xbox series x for the crescent Limerick till tomorrow evening if any1 is looking. Was taking tomorrow off work to collect but herself had to tell me she had one delivered today for me for Xmas. Everyone in the other treand looking are new accounts and don't want to ending up on adverts for 700 rather give it to someone who will use it themselves

Came up against him + IF Werner twice in a row in rivals. Nightmare stuff, needed to adjust big time with my defenders as I like to manually intercept/cut off lanes, but not with those two.

So, corners were something I was having a lot of difficulty with this year. Feels like the timing, power and aim are way, way harder this year. Last year, I found it easier to whip in something to the close post (especially if someone pulled away their defender to chase out an attacker I called to me) and head it in. This year, I've struggled to get even shots on target.

So, I tried to change it a bit. I started whipping in long crosses to the back post, usually towards a taller player, to then head back across goal, so I could try and shoot normally. Not ultra effective. But not many people seemed to be expecting it. Whip it across the box to Pogba, who could head it back cross the box to Suarez to score. Often times, it became a mad scramble. But the passing headers were way more accurate than shooting ones. I guess because of assisted passing?

Anyway. That's when I accidently mis-aimed a header towards the goal instead of to my striker.....and buried it into the back to the net.

And that's how I've scored a corner at least every second game today. Whip the ball towards the tallest player at the back post. Press A instead of B (Xbox), to "pass" instead of shoot, aiming at the front post again. And because it's a pass, the player leaps up, and absolutely buries it into the back of the net. Pass headers seem way more accurate, way more powerful, and way more inclined to be prioritized over clearance headers.

I'd love to see if others have any success. It's absolutely astounded me today how many I've been managing to score with it.

Anyone do the mason mount sbc? Im looking at it and dont really need the card but i could do it with players i already have in the club... But i dont think it will be an exceptional card unless chelsea reach the final?

If they make it out of group stages it will go to 84 rated so your looking at next march before it will get up to 86.. By that time 86 cam wont be that impressive...

Him, and Isco, are cards I’d usually do cause they look cheap, but then I feel like he’d go into the club in two weeks and never be used again. Trying to avoid that sort of thing this year.

First upgrade from 83 is to an 85 but yeah I'd steer clear of him, even with a few upgrades he won't be great. If nothing else we've got Icon SBCs coming in a couple weeks, I'd save the fodder.

So I done three of the 81+ UCL upgrades for tonight’s objective, two of the players I already had and the other was Jordi Alba.

Finished the objective just there and opened all the packs, got nothing until the last pack when out pops Mane!!

And the had a game just now, my shot ricochets off his defender and somehow ends up bouncing down my half, grand. Keeper rushes out to clear it and does that half arsed animation where he’s stuck back and forth in the same spot then decided to barely touch it with his head and my opponents striker is through and scores for a 2-1 lead....

Same as that. I've been at the Kounde objectives for 6 hours now. I can't buy a win. Every game is "one of those" games. Probably lost 13 of 15.

All of my players are stuck in mud. Probably the worst run I've had on any FIFA.

I genuinely curious how I can go from being 112-27 to losing every game....and a lot of them by cricket score.

Div 1 is actually the most boring thing in the world, players don't do anything they just hold the ball



6 games to go, need about 440 per game assuming the ranking jumps up another 150 points (which I think is generous). Gonna play them tomorrow.

I was similar enough last year and everything just dropped off a cliff after a week of FIFA 21 :pac: think I’m gonna upgrade on my defence and bring in Militao + Carlos and see if that tightens things up, although I do love Akanji and Klostermann.

Since I got Ramos untradeable I switched to a La Liga side and started losing badly. Was using 4141 for chem before switching but after a few games losing I left as it and started winning. Midfielders made lovely runs and the wingers were constantly getting in behind and all on default tactics. Will give it a shot for a bit.

Great tip! Have scored twice from corners since switching to pass instead of shoot.

Been doing well with this team recently, subbing LLoris on for Frei. Opara is the best defender I've used by an absolute mile

My first Fifa in a few years and I started off using tactics from youtube etc. wasn't doing too well. In the last week or two I've ditched those and just started playing normally again, no sit back and long ball tactics and have seen huge improvement.

Ive the rule breaker marcus llorente card i was gonna try switch him in my midfield instead of kante and messi instead of Salah for a change, im not sure tho.

How do you find the two objective Americans?

I just need to complete one final game (not even win) to unlock the trio, and am tempted to run a 4-2-3-1 with all three in place this weekend. Stats wise, they all look amazing, and Bojan chemistry's in Fati easily enough for me.

I actually haven't even tried out Bojan, just doesn't fit into my squad at all.

In terms of the defenders - Opara is amazing, hes generally not outpaced and feels much stronger than 79 strength. He has really high agility which is noticeable, you can be really aggressive with him without being caught out.

Long is okay, feels weaker than Opara and doesn't feel as quick as his card would suggest.

Lima - seems fine, haven't overly noticed him which is good I guess. Doesn't really get outpaced and can be quite good as a different option to start attacks when you're in a bit of a stalemate - I find in those games the opposition aren't expecting you to push the whole length of the pitch with a fullback, so can force a mistake.

I've just been subbing in Lloris for Frei but every keeper feels the same to me on this game

The leaks are via the 83-86 Red upgrade SBC, which have added the cards despite the fact they don't exist yet.

Also rumours of Messi, Bruno, Mkhitaryan. Could be a good week for rewards.
