Yeah, Falcao is fairly impossible to link so no one will want him for their main teams. Just bought him to try as a super sub.

From reading fifa forums, Reddit etc over last couple of years it’s clear most people place little value on “untradeables”, it’s just a case of “ah sure what else was I going to do with them, who cares if it’s overpriced”

Yet every single untradeable item cost something, time to get an objective player, time and cards to do an untradeable sbc, or you chose untradeable rewards over coins or a lesser amount of tradeable packs in rewards. (Which again cost time and effort)

So it’s easy for ea to put them at stupid prices when most people really don’t value them (like they should)

Isn’t this Black Friday we’re you’re supposed to get deals and save money etc?? I don’t think Fifa understand this, overpriced SBCs (Aguero is a joke), lightning rounds with awful pack odds! Awful and impossible to pack rule breakers + MBappe thrown in just to sell Fifa coins.

I think this is an awful promo and shows us just what Fifa really think about us.

almost all sbcs this year have been hilarious i would say, even wanting an 82 rated squad for that 74 rated german 3rd division player is hilarious and jsut goes to show that people will do the sbcs its like crack to them they have to do them its insane.

What we are witnessing is the effect of long term Data mining and AI, companies are now experts at giving the slightest of incentives and creating FOMO to exploit people into buying packs I picked up a bunch of player packs today and only got a single player 83+.

Honestly EA's pack code needs to be regulated properly, despite its closed source nature. Even the ruling forcing them to show the pack weights is a complete scam, just look at their labelling and don't even get me started on the > 1% nonsense.

You are basically walking into a casino, placing a bet on a game of roulette but where the house can alter the speed of the wheel at will.

FUT has always been like this on Black Friday tbh. "Give us loads of money for digital goods you don't need!"

Mind, I think Black Friday, in general, is misunderstood. Barely any genuine "deals" take place anywhere. It's all about the illusion of "deals", and people going mad spending money.

I run a small online toy store. I literally don't lower my prices at all, yet do three times the sales every Black Friday. I don't pretend to offer anything, or trick people with any marketing thing (though Amazon does that for me). People just go nuts because they've been told Black Friday is a great day to buy ****e.

Sold Veron and Rui Costa. Veron sold for 100k more than the cost of his SBC. Might get him back in the next few weeks but want to give Khedira a run at CDM. Anderson Talisca is placeholder that I'll want to replace. In-game he'll be LAM in a 4231.

Where would you go from here to improve this team? Have nearly 1M coins to play with.

I think I have about 300K of high rated untradeables that I'll never use. Lots of fodder I picked up a few weeks ago in anticipation of SBCs. Can probably do Aguero by spending about 50K (plus the cost of the fodder I could flog).

Up to 900K now & hoping Mbappe will drop in the next few weeks. Last December a lot of top tier cards dropped by a couple of hundred thousand. If that happens again, I'd be looking at a front four of FB Aguero (CAM), Rashford (LW), Gelson Martins (RW - ok, he's 1000 coins but 94 pace, super responsive and five star skills) & Mbappe (ST).

I've a duplicate untradeable 85 Thiago Silva sitting unassigned and a bunch of packs to open. Don't want to discard him but not ready to commit to getting Aguero in case something else drops in the next few days that I want to sync my untradeables into. Pity you can't leave a few unassigned cards or have an SBC card stock. Had a pack yesterday where I have 15 duplicate untradeable players.

Wasn't going to bother doing the base icon upgrade as I only really enjoy using 5* skilled forwards and already have Neymar & Mbappe, so 95% of the icons I wouldn't really get much craic out of.

Gave it a lash for fear of missing out. Got Cruyff!!! Nice change from repeatedly packing Tadic and the likes.

I’m just sitting here with 2.2 million coins trying to decide who to buy.

League upgrades are out! Standard upgrade for 11 golds which gives back a pack with 3 players from that league, at least one rare.
There’s also 2x 81+ league specific for 11 rares, 6 from that league.

Time to rinse my club.

Still have 1.2 mil so could get Zola or Mbappe at CAM although I’m loathe to drop NIF Ben Yedder.
Or Stoickov at LW, I cannot use Saint Maxim and he’s just annoying me now

Suker looks unreal for only 600k.. been meaning to try him but Rodrigo just keeps banging in goals for fun.

Having a goal scoring CM has been working wonders for me too. 11 games for Havertz, 8 goals 6 assists. All the way up at 1460 SR now. Bringing on Alessandrini at HT too, unreal card. Going to have to try move the squad around to start him.

Generally my pack luck been pretty poor - think I used it up in 20 when I got CR7 TOTSSF and his TOTY card twice but maybe beginning to turn a bit (hopefully) as just packed a tradable VVD this morning from a Rare Gold Pack. Will give him a go but if it doesn’t work out then can sell him for a decent chunk

also 88 Kimmich a couple of days ago - untradeable but his TOTSSF card last season was very good for me.

Been tracking my Gold packs since the start and pretty poor returns overall - 164 packs and only 8 walkouts! Still have 95 unopened packs - probably stack the most of them for TOTY/TOTS

Took a break for a few days, cleared out some of my squad into PL player objective and just bought base liverpool players, apart from Mane Salah and Van Dijk, waaay out of my range, 14 rival wins in a row, lol

Opened packs i had and out popped Ter Stegen and Lloris, i now have Allison, Ter Stegen, Courtous, Handanovic, Lloris, Donnaruma, Strakosha, Neto and bunch of other 80+ keepers all untradeable except Allison

That or you can just do upgrades or other SBCs for packs. I’d only ever buy packs at the start of the game as it’s pretty profitable coin-wise.

My first WL game yesterday is too good not to share. 60 minutes gone and I find myself 5-1 down. Ian Rush pulls one back to make it 5-2.




Florenzi and Fati are subbed on. Florenzi doesn't give up on what looks like a lost cause and gets his rewards. 5-3.

Great play from Fati down the left, he finds Larsson and we're all square at 5-5.





Larsson misses a one and one to make it 6-5 and against the run of play the comeback looks to be killed off.



Larsson makes up for his miss and levels it up again. It looks like we're going to extra-time.



The ball is turned over and we win a corner. I took the advice of a poster on here the last day and play it short and then cross it. It pays off and Ocampos is there to make it 7-6 and win the game. Scenes.

Player glitches through a tackle, then my player opens his legs to get nutmegged randomly....all to set up a last minute goal from Adama Traore at a bad angle with 66 finishing

Loan Mbappe scoring the last minute winner in extra time after my Varane won't turn and Militao literally stops playing and watches him run in.

Hopefully next gen is better than this DDA BS.
