I'd say Mbappe is better for games where your opponent sits deep and you have more of the ball trying to create space in the box, while rashford is better with more space to operate or when you opponent is pushing up. I have had a lot of luck starting games with Mbappe and then bringing on Rashford later in games.

PS: I'd say the IF difference is only maybe 5-10%, so running Mbappe and Base Rashford would be the best option IMO.

He’s still excellent but is dead on his feet after 70 minutes.

I feel his best position is CAM and he’s still one of the best in the game, IMO.

He’s underrated at that price but they have killed him a bit with the stamina.

Tried his 94 IF over the last week, the goals he scored were fantastic, but got pushed around too easily as he his not the quickest or strongest. Probably best suited as CAM to a team that has a top striker he can feed balls to.

They're really leaving it late considering they guaranteed it would start in December but there's only 3 weeks left in this season.

At a guess now, they'll wait and make sure Batch 1 can be doable by people who buy the game at Xmas time. Imagine getting the game on Xmas morning, only to find you've missed half the tokens.

Did the Beckham objectives quite quickly by using a second controller and leaving it down allowing me to rack up the objectives needed.

Packed Lewandowski and Dybala from the resulting packs.

I’m focusing now on going untradable with all rewards and being able to put together 6 or 7 decent first owner players from the various leagues into a team ahead of the upcoming Icon Swaps so both will do nicely for that.

It seems a lot of people are using Lewandowski for coin transfers as he’s only about 80k on the market but there’s bids of 250k-300k on some of his cards.

Decided to try out Cantona this weekend so selling Puskas.
Only reason is he’s been carrying the entire team and especially Felix at CAM and I don’t like m/m CAMS. So will put Felix at ST and Cantona at CAM.
If it doesn’t work out back to Puskas

Hopped on for a game tonight to test out the 5212 tactics. Jesus it’s a lot of fun using that formation... so much width with the attacking full backs.

Telles and Mbabu each had a goal and an assist inside the first half and then subbed on Atal who got an assist too. Think that could be my new formation with a few players swapped out for others.

Another week, another patch. Patch #7 now and the game has only been out 11 weeks, closer to 10 weeks for those who purchased on general release day.

It seems they have fixed the issue with referees not giving a red card when you hack someone down who is through on goal, but overall the latest changes appear to be geared towards nerfing attacking and buffing defending which won’t go down too well.

Also in the latest code was an interesting “FUT is not accessible in your region due to a demand from the authorities of your region” note. I wonder if EA will just block UT for those in countries that ban the sale of loot boxes/FIFA Points?

Has anyone gotten anything decent from the Player Pick SBC this time round?

Last time, I did about 10 and even apart from Varane, I was getting 82-84s.

This time, I've done six and only packed a single card above 80.

I am hoping they don't do it in batches again given they are starting so much later as if they do you are talking February probably before you can get them all. But of course that's exactly what will happen.

With a shadow he’s 88 pace, 91 defending and 85 physical! :eek:

The only concerning thing is 83 acceleration even with a shadow but everything else looks perfect.

That’s a crazy good card (on paper anyway) considering all you need to do is play 15 games, not even win them, with 7 Eredivise players in your starting line up.

The CM Gravenberch looks superb for just 15 goals with the same requirements too.

Not used the CB yet but used the CM and RW for WL. CM was slightly underwhelming considering his stats, but still good. RW was the surprise for me, fantastic to use and never seemed to miss with either foot.

I love that Gravenberch card, he can be a little rough on the ball but his passing is good and thanks to his huge legs his tackling is ridiculous, so as long as you win the ball and immediately pass it off you should be good.

Im disappointed by this if it happens, as while i found it infuriating early on, i then embraced it and won matches thanks to it , hopefully it has not been fixed cos as we know, patches generally fix nothing

Played a game at lunch and the guy I played obviously hadn't seen this, finally a red for last man tackle!

Going by Futbin, he's capped at a million, I'd say people are waiting for that to increase although I'm not sure either card is worth that.

Its like Irish Land hording, why sell him now when you can keep hold of him and sell him for substantially more later. It forces EA to either increase his pack weight (which they won't want to do), or increase his price bands.

How do you disable the tension on the triggers? I can hear my controller clicking in weird ways - sounds like it's killing it. Doesn't happen on other games.

Also, how the hell do you defend? I'm conceding 3+ goals every game now.

If you’re on PS, press the ps button and go to controller settings from there. There’s an option to disable it.

Yeah I found him very good. Hunter chem and he’s excellent.
Not Puskas level now mind you but I did love Sukers movement and finishing..plus the green shoes. Very easy to make him out on the pitch.

Remember during Summer Heat last year they started doing Showdown SBCs where you'd choose a boosted card between say Fabinho and Foden, and then whichever team won Liverpool vs City that weekend that card would get an extra +3 boost?

That was an amazing idea, we all praised it at the time, and we haven't seen anything like it since, makes no sense to not do things like that all year round, especially for big Champions League games like those tonight.

Think I’ve really found my level now.

My skill rating is about 1450. I’m on PS5 so the matchmaking is a bit looser due to the smaller playing pool. If I play anyone close to 1500 or above I’ll lose more often than not, and if I play anyone closer to 1400 or just below that I’ll win more often than not.

There’s times where I’ll get to just under 1500 and on the cusp of promotion to division 3, but will then lose a couple in a row and drop back to that 1450-ish figure.

What skill rating are you all these days?

I just got promoted to div3 last night. Haven’t been in div3 since fifa18 thanks to this stupid objectives for rivals.
Div2/3 is my normal zone so hoping to get to div2 by next week or so.
I went back to playing the last gen mode as next gen
I was in div4 and matched with a guy who had 1800 points or so.

I'm about 3 weeks in and in and around 1000 (bottom of div 5). Cruised through 7 and 6,, 5 is a big jump in the quality of teams... Annoyingly I only have 3 good players in my club, Mane, TOTGS Sterling and IF Carrasco, all LWs.

I hover around the 1600 SR mark in Div 3, but lately on PS5 I've been coming up against 1750 SR players which isn't that fun.

Felix is absolutely destroying me online.

I have enough in my club to do him for a small amount of coins, but I’ve got no way to fit him into my team really as I sub Neymar on as CAM and play IF Rashford up front in a Premier League focused team.
