Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Let's hope Turty is on holidays because if he hears his favourite goalie is in goal against his favourite opponent, there'll be hell to pay

Alisson, Gomez, Matip, Henderson, Thiago, Ox.

    That's a big injury / doubts list.

Liverpool sweat on Alisson and Thiago fitness ahead of Arsenal test at Anfield

Didn't think Thiago would start anyway if I'm perfectly honest, I would put Adrian in the next 2 Arsenal matches and just make sure Ali gets back fit ASAP, he's worth more in the long run, I'm sure he will concede a howler or 2 but that's a gamble I would take...

I'd be worried if not for the source.

The ECHO reporting Hull want to sign Woodburn on a season long loan after his move to Rotterdam fell through.

Looks like a lot of the fringe players won't be sold this window and will all head out on loan.

Any chance we can start an inhaler in goal on Monday if Alisson is injured?

Evertonians, not content with winning the transfer window 2020, they have to dig in with inhaler jibes...

Imagine the gasps that teamsheet would draw.

'Adrian' would lead to an instant asthma attack, you'd not even hear the outfield 10.

    Chelsea Istanbul (win)
    Arsenal (win)
    Southampton (win)
    Newcastle (win)

    And the FA cup too.

He also had some very poor moments against Arsenal & Saints too in the league wins. There's probably a couple more he got away with too.

1 goal & an assist for Suarez on his debut for Atletico.

He came on as a sub after 70 mins.

Suarez for 5m, has done more in 23 minutes than 100m pound man Hazard has done in his whole Real Madrid career.

The kinda goal he never would score for Barca, as they rarely cross it. But it shows the tools he has at his disposal, has them all.

Aren't you an Atletico fan the amount you posted over the last few days in here about them and not Liverpool?

You'd be happy Adrian had a mare then.

Come on, you do remember Suarez did play for us. Huge interesting in him still from a Liverpool point of view

Looking good so far. Win tomorrow and we could be already 6 points ahead of city. That will have a physiological impact on them.

    Will be tough tomorrow.

Even more so of Allison is out.

    Great result for us.

Hopefully we can do the business vs Arsenal tomorrow night.

Alisson & Thiago are facing fitness tests, apparently.

This weekend, Chelsea and Man City have both really underlined how lucky we are that we have defenders that actually know how to defend. Gomez has gotten stick since we came back from lockdown, but he would be the best defender at either of those clubs.

And they're supposed to be the two most likely to stop us from defending our title.

    I'm being genuine here.

It should be our League to lose.

The only good news is that a loss tomorrow would be only catastrophic for ending the run going back to
    April 23 2017 :)

I take hope in that Pearce has yet to confirm the Alisson & Thiago news.

Joyce & Reddy have retweeted the original source (Independent) but I've yet to see anything concrete.

Tomorrow game is already absolutely massive we need to be beating our rivals at home,

I'd say the Liverpool players are chomping at the bit to get at Arsenal tomorrow. With Arsenal having sneaked a couple of wins in the last couple of meetings, I'd say there's a serious hunger to smash them. Looking forward to it. Liverpool really need to get the first goal so Arsenal have to come out and play and can't camp inside their half again.

I didn't say it 'is'. I said it 'should be'.

I don't think Chelsea, City or Utd have done enough to bridge the gap enough, if we keep our standard.

We still have to do it though. And that is not a guarantee.

It's one thing when you've no league titles in the team and it only became apparent by December that the league was over.

Trying to stay switched on from the first game until the job is done and never letting complacency kick in is another matter.

We've lost our last two games against Arsenal, and with a game in hand City could easily be level on points with us if that game gets played sometime soon.

We're going to have to be just as good as we were in the first half of last season. If it turns out that we can be, and that City's performance today is indicative of continuing their form from last season, then fine, but it's a very very long road to go yet.

That said, it's them or nobody. There'll be some more chatter about Leicester even when we're 10 points ahead of them, but it'll only ever be about trying to manufacture a narrative of a title race. They're half the team Liverpool are.

Pep has spent 400m pounds on just defenders, and they still can't defend. We must be favorites now Shirley.
A win tomorrow is huge, even at this early stage.

City were going to walk the league this season only a few weeks ago according to some. Silly billys.
