Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think having the best goalkeeper in the world really works in our favour. It psychs out the penalty takers somewhat.

Christ, bloody lucky to still be 0-0, could easily be 2 down at this stage. Hope Hendo is fit for a half.

It has to count for something although Adrian seems to save more.

Allisson was no where near that.

Neco Williams is very poor, he had 2-3 good games when thrown in with the kids in the league cup, a purple patch. Never stood out at youth level.

He is regularly taken to the cleaners when playing with the first team in last 12 months.

Was disappointed to see him jump Hoever in pecking order. I know he joined Wolves but hes a hugely better prospect.

    Braindead stuff from Neco.

    Brighton first to every ball.

He’s not generally great on pens though.

Losing Maupay a huge loss for them, their big presence up front.

I don't get what Klopp sees in him

That said, he did knick the ball

I think they will persevere with him in spite of his shortcomings.

Id say they didnt bank of selling Hoever but lack of takers for the fringe players meant they had to offload to raise funds

Teams looks tired. A good game for Lallana go come on with us looking very exposed.

Liverpool need to hold the ball more, giving far too much of it to Brighton.

FFS he's just a kid, shouldn't even be on the pitch tbh, its a mistake that he should be learning from in reserves, he shouldn't be learning from his mistakes at the highest level.

Connolly constantly running in behind causing problems.

We look very off colour as you might be on a 3rd game in 6 days.

I think people need to calm down about Williams.
He's only 19 and playing his eight premiership game.

We're all over the place, the right side is wide open, Salah, Minimino, with Phillips and Neco, very weak. But as you say, we're not keeping the ball, Mini has given it away several times, just need to get a foot on it and keep it, take the sting out of Brighton for a few minutes.

I see he's changed Milner to the right now, about time.

We badly need to score and change the dynamics of this game, but we've barely pressed since the 10th minute.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,398 ✭✭✭facehugger99

BHA winning the physical battle. Ref is letting them away with plenty of little shoves too.

Really missing Henderson and a midfield Fab in a match like this.

Minamino reminds me of Kuyt early in his career, running around like a headless chicken not offering much.

Need to change the formation, this isn't working

Very poor but can't be helped.
No matter what club you are, you can't take the quality players out of the mix in the numbers we have and expect things to run smoothly.
    All these games aren't helping.
Hopefully Hendo and Mane can bring some intensity in the second half.

    Is shaq injured?

If he ends up as Kuyt did I won't complain.

    Minamino not exactly impressing.

I can’t remember him ever playing well for us, or us playing well when he starts.

Where is Bobby Firmino of last week gone? He seems to have reverted again. Not making any impact, no runs and below par touches.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

    Williams having a shocker.

I don’t know, but yes, one would always have to assume he is.

    Sweat, how disheartening for brighton

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,398 ✭✭✭facehugger99

    Obviously can't celebrate goals anymore.

    Fcuk you VAR.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,258 ✭✭✭The White Wolf

    Williams having a shocker.

Until that goal not many were up to much. I wouldn't be singling out anyone in particular for criticism in what's clearly a makeshift starting XI.
