Anyone decent is staying indoors 24/7 and twitching the curtain like good COVID fearing Christians.

Would you ever give over, it's like watching kids throwing the toys out of the pram because they are not getting their way with having everything open and allowed to do as they please.

Wow France must have serious testing capacity..16k positives today, must have tested several hundred thousand people. Deaths remaining relatively stable for now considering the number of cases but 100 ICU admissions in the last 24 hours is worrying.

Game of numbers. ICU admissions will scale up.

    Midnight tomorrow night

To my mind, closing the pubs is a smoke screen for the infection rate in schools. That is where the cases are coming from, but you will not hear anything about that.

God love the teachers. They are the brave ones.

Not just teachers but school bus drivers, SNA's and school cleaners. These people are all risking a lot.

There are people giving out about any form of social activity at this point. Its either lock yourself up or you're a granny killer to some. Even if what you're doing is within current guidance.

    Clear enough
The county is to move to Level 3 restrictions from midnight tomorrow night.
From midnight on Friday, people residing in Donegal will be asked not to travel outside the county and it will be subject to the same sanctions as Dublin with bans on indoor dining, further restrictions on the number of spectators at sporting events, bans on local matches, and strict limits on the number of people and family groups that can gather indoors and outdoors.

No. Dublin cases may uave peaked

Not at all. It's a matter of using common sense and restricting contacts. So, some people go extreme - they exist in every group - but to throw in the twitcher rubbish every time is purely infantile.

Living in Sweden doesn't sound great tbh. Poor Irish woman over there during pregnancy. I wouldn't be rushing into a free for all situation lightly.

Sweden is supposed to be a utopia???

    How is this possible?

The smokescreen for the pubs was lack of contact tracing.

The Times ran the infographic first. The DoH or HSE "stole" it (followed by The Times putting a copyright on it) and have now realised its better than an 18 page document they expect everyone to read

Point being they ran an easy to follow graphic, DoH stole it, got slapped on the wrist so came up with their own - was never their idea in the first place til The Times came up with the idea for the average man (even MM could barely wrestle his way through the document)

Elphin publican did not realise he should have been self-isolating while waiting for test https://roscommonherald.ie/2020/09/23/elphin-publican-did-not-realise-he-should-have-been-self-isolating/ he went to his pub where there was a party going on and stayed for 40 minutes he subsequently tested positive and now there are more cases in the town

It would appear he realizes absolutely fúck all.

Self isolate, party in his pub, he shouldn't be at the party, etc.

How did he not realise that he should have been self isolating after getting a test and until a result comes back? That's absolute pure bullsh1t. The majority of 2020 has been taken up with covid this and covid that, covid guidelines left, right and centre since February and your man didn't realise he should have been at home isolating. That's an absolute cop out from him and that's all it is.

Slapped on the wrist where is that info?
If they had used the image as is without permission then yes that would be copyright infringement, but they didn't. The used the idea and made up their own graphics which they are entitled to do. Basically all images are copyrighted unless the owner says otherwise. Just because the times put copyright under it doesn't mean someone got a slap on the wrist.
