Thanks, but that doesn’t appear to provide individual daily breakdowns, just totals. Or I may not be seeing it?

Under the LEA graph there's a day by day map per county, difference between each day = daily total

I asked a couple of days ago, I'll ask again.
Is there any place with an up to date record on the number of schools with cases?

There is **potentially** a backlog of up to 261 cases from the last 7 days.

I don't think all 261 are a backlog, but there is the potential for some to come through yet.

Jeez that's a huge potential backlog

    7143 new cases in UK.
    Sharp spike.

9 potential counties for level 3, all above 60?

What was Dublin at when we went to Level 3?

    120.9

Cancer is not a virus and t-cells do nothing against it. Also the very article you posted says covid does not infect CD8 cells.

Be honest, how much of your post did you make up on the spot?

You might want to read up on that. There's some amazing work being done on cancer treatment using T-cells.

Here's one link. There are lots out there. Very interesting. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5614937/#:~:text=Natural%20killer%20T%20(NKT)%20cells,cells%20in%20the%20tumor%20microenvironment.

320 new cases in the north.
In population terms, that's the equivalent of almost 900 in the republic

Wonder what you are gonna be like when we get 900 here.
You'll probably find some way to make it sound not too bad.

Sure a couple of months ago it was never going to get near 100.

Those are re-engineered t-cells. They normally do not fight cancer.

I've repeatedly said it on here that politicians are more interested in being seen to do something than doing something useful.

Remember the gobshytes sending out iodine tablets after 9/11?

Wasting taxpayers' money is never an issue for politicians.

Yeah. My worries is the non fatal people. We know it can cause long haul covid 150,000 affected in sweden. And only 14% of society immune.

But what worries me is how it will curtail life expectencies. The virus invades CD4 cells (like HIV) but thankfully does not reproduce there. But we also know it kills CD8 cells, which adults dont reproduce.

    It also ages Tcells.

This leaves our bodies weakened and less able to fight off cancer, herpes and other viruses. Over time, this can tip the balance between good health and 'a condition' and every time we get this virus it does a little more damage.

Kids, thankfully are ok, they are still producing these cells. The kids that get MIS-C (70 in sweden) they are not sure why, but believe its tied to mature immune systems.

So yeah, not fatal, but a virus to be avoided.

And the paper below is not peer reviewed a similar paper was released a month ago that had to be redacted as it used Tcells in the lab not human ones. This paper uses human cells. Still.awaiting review though

Apparently thousands of job losses don't matter because it might save someone's granny.

Apparently someone’s granny doesn’t matter because people of a certain age can’t seem to be able to socialise unless every friend they have is in attendance.

Todays Epidemiology report lists 2 deaths in the 45-54 age group, 1 in the 75-84 and 2 in the 85+ group. The other day someone in the 25-34 age group died. I would not regard 45-54 as old.

People of a certain age? It's people of every age breaking restrictions don't just use students as an easy target.

C'mon, you know what I meant. If some unfortunate with severe underlying conditions catches Covid, regardless of how 'young' they are, it's a lot different from an otherwise healthy person catching it.
