Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Joining two bedrooms with door

Hi, just looking for any tips or opinions. I have a 4 bed house, and looking at joining two bedrooms together via a door - sliding or pocket door. Kind of like a walk in wardrobe or desk and lounge area for my son. I would keep the original doors to the bedrooms in place.

I don’t want to knock the stud wall down completely as I know this can potentially devalue the home and we are not sure if we will be looking at selling etc within 10 years or so.

I’m wondering would this still be considered two bedrooms? Would it be a huge job to just add a door? Thank you

Yes, would still be considered two bedrooms provided there is a door. No, not a huge job, I'd expect to pay less than €1,000 all in.

Removing the door and restoring the wall in future (if you're planning on selling) is a very straightforward job that only takes a couple of hours.
