    Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone is living in/has lived in/is very familiar with Summerhill?

Is it a nice town? Good amenities? Are the locals nice, or would they have issues with "blow ins"?

Couple of houses in the area that we like the look of and just wanted to try get a bit of info on the place if possible.

    Thanks!

Moved to the area about 6 years ago, lovely spot and very happy here. For a small village it has pretty much everything you would need and Trim only 10 minutes away for the rest. Never had any issues being new to the area, have had very good relationships with locals from day one.

Moved to the area in 2011, and quite happy with our choice. As stated above amenities are good for a village its size. There is a school, Church, Creche, playground, 2 pubs, 2 takeaways, post office, petrol station, Hardware Store, 2 busy shops and a butcher who stays open well after 6.
GAA and Soccer club in summerhill and an astoturf pitch. Navan, Liffey Valley and Blanchardstown shopping centres are about all about a 30 minute drive too.
I found People welcoming although we dont know that many as we live about 2 miles outside the village itself. Our daughter is in Dangan School now so meeting other peolple (parents) that way.
