Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If I got infected I would take my chances with 5 shots of whiskey per day to burn it off.
I'm am smoking 200 cigis a day to keep the virus away and it's working.

He's a bootlicker, just like the rest of Trumps yes-men are.

He can say what he wants, but at the end of the day he continues to support what Trump is doing

What?? He is the farthest from a bootlicker as you could find.

There'll be an initial little upsurge in deaths as people start celebrating before getting vaccinated.

He does challenge Trump, but in a nudge/wink type way, the smartest way to do it

If you can master the little Robinson 22 you can fly the big helicopters quite easily.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 56,710 ✭✭✭✭walshb

And tell us, seeing as you’re here, other than the tragic loss of the sister, any cancer doing the rounds in your family?

It looks to be either poor maps available of the area or pilot error.

A skittish little bastard. Knew a lad who did external cargo certification in pompano Florida in one of them. R44 different kettle of fish.

Remember the helicopter scene in dirty mary crazy larry bell jetranger i think.

Does any other chatshow in the history of the world have this type of slot where people talk about how they lost a loved one? Genuinely curious.

Winch operator Paul Ormsby and winch man Ciáran Smith bodies never recovered, terrible for their families, no real closure or place to mourn.

I took two lessons on the R22. Having done a huge amount of reading on helicopter handling before-hand helped get most out of the lessons, and it can actually be rehearsed in your mind to great effect. It's terrifying and should be, but utterly good fun, and I got to handling all controls simultaneously, get introduced to forced landings (what a buzz in diving to the ground!) and steering the aircraft into a precise landing position two feet over ground as the instructor lowered it down. I have a lovely certificate commending my accurate pedalwork.

And all because a fisherman cut his thumb....fs probably no safety protocol on that boat.

This is a filler part of the show but it’s as painful as getting a filling! As was the Mary Mac interview.

They said the navigation needed updating.
Even so a map check might have helped.
