    hello everyone

ive had a read over the thread and i can't make head nor tail of this numbers thing. so much info. tomorrow i'll try to make sense of it if i'm still here.

does anyone know who killed Steve? or was it mods?

yeah Orla is acting oddly alright.

    Here's Senan's post.

Okay, so if Phil is serious about choosing his targets in that way, I presume it's because he thinks that the numbers/code is some sort of clue about who the wolves are.

It's not possible for there to be a relationship between the numbers/code and the order in which players posted because the mods handed out the roles and created the numbers/code before anyone posted.

I said I had no idea who could be a wolf. I used the code as a starting point to look at players. I’m already down to 2 and have just ISO’d one of those.

FWIW, I’m glad I have Wendy on a list. She’s been here all day but has had no memorable posts.

Yeah I can't find a Senan post when I search so there's some funny buggers going on with boards I think.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,927 ✭✭✭Orla WW

Senan doesn't come up in the search for me but when I went through each page and used Ctrl-F I found him.

The survivors were finding it tough to agree on the best way for them to move forward on this strange island. Much was debated, but one survivor seemed to be on a completely different page to the rest.

Steve repeated himself with the snowman joke.
Brendan repeated himself with not entering a code.

Brendans last post Today, 14:51 #456, well before the first smoke gif, so the smoke target is not only selected from who is active at the time of the gifs being posted.

It was plainly obvious to me that the method had nothing to do with when roles were handed out. That was a red herring thrown into the mix by you, for no reason at all.

Let's leave it there so Frank, this little side discussion isn't getting us anywhere

Bye bye Bren. Can't say that I agreed with his ideas but not nice to lose another villager.

Im reading that flavour of "one survivor seemed to be on a completely different page" as Brendan and his idea for not putting in the codes.

"There" should start the sentence and it should finish with "here."

Probably but I wouldn't have thought it's why he was killed, I'd expect that that's just random (or maybe random among villagers only?)

Gertrude seems to be skipping through this unabated.

Not posting and hasn't been mentioned in general.

The two death notices I literally quoted at the start of this page (Steve and Brendan)

i've read them multiple times and can't see instances of here or there in either message.

There is an image showing a word in each death notice.

Maybe Frank doesn't see the images?

Ah, I'm using work laptop, it doesn't show images from popular image sites. That explains what i was missing. thanks and sorry for the misunderstanding.

Also see that Steve said "Mr Eko" in back to back posts.

Brendan said "deep dive"(albeit spelled differently) in back to back posts.

What do you think really though? If we repeat ourselves then the smoke monster comes? Im sure we have all repeated ourselves already (barring senan and a couple of others of course)

I repeated myself with my FFA/code thing too so I don’t think it’s that either. But mine doesn’t sound a bit tasky though whereas theirs did.

    I dunno.

The only time I've seen such a quiet thread is when people were away chatting in backrooms.

    What's going on
