I was thinking about what the wolves would have been thinking during Fiona's fake peek/reveal (which I personally was poor village play but anyway). If Angus is a wolf, they'd have been thinking "sh*t, that's a second one of us gone" - would they have stayed off the thread or come on it? If Angus is not a wolf, they have been thinking "WTF is going on here?" and probably stayed off the thread imo?

With that in mind, I had a look at the posts around when this happened:

Taken from 2140 onwards players posting were:

    Nigel
    Angus
    Nigel
    Orla
    Fiona - claims alignment peek @ 2143
    Phil
    Angus
    Wendy
    Emily
    Fiona
    Derry
    Angus
Fiona - says she's entered the peek request @ 2146
    Derry
    Emily
    Fiona
    Emily
    Nigel
    Derry
    Fiona
    Fiona - @ 2149 claims Angus is a wolf
    Emily
    Emily
    Derry
    Emily
    Patrick
    Nigel
    Fiona
    Patrick
    Derry
    Emily
    Emily
    Fiona
    Derry
    Wendy
    Nigel
    Fiona
    Orla
    Emily
    Fiona
    Derry
    Patrick
Angus - asks Fiona to check the peek with Necro @ 2157
    Derry
    Fiona
    Emily
    Nigel
    Patrick
    Emily
    Orla
Fiona - comes clean about it being a fake @ 2200
    Frank
    Emily
    Wendy
    Nigel
    Fiona
    Emily
    Patrick
    Phil
    Nigel
    Fiona

Now amongst the players that were posting around then, I don't see much cause for concern. Patrick appeared but his posts seem okay. Phil also appeared shortly after Fiona came clean, maybe suspicious? Wendy went to bed at 10pm apparently thinking that Angus was a wolf (she had said earlier that she wouldn't be around for the 10pm number input)

This somewhat depends on the assumption that Fiona is village however...

Either you know she is, with it’s own implications or it’s got a big assumption underneath it

No more wise than when I started reading back :( Voting Emily for now since she felt dodgy at the start but it’s just a hunch tbh. Need to do some serious reading tomorrow

Gerty please elaborate on exactly how Emily was dodgy.
    Give examples?

Later, first I think I’ll look into the deaths so far and see if I understand what they died for

    Jacob approves of this

Missed the vote, very sorry to Mods and Players. IRL and all that.

Will be getting more involved today once I catch up.

And while I feel Emily has a good lean, you are correct I dont know her.

Im grievance isn't that you voted her its that your reasons provided on thread havent been backed up with anything beyond shes wolfy.

Why is she wolfy, explain it to me

    Missed votes for

    Barbara WW
    Henry WW
    Vernon WW

Barbara, Henry, Holly and Vernon all with less than the minimum post count as far as I can see

Based on the OP, I don’t think the mods would take kindly to a member of the wolf team missing a vote.
    2. We have 23 players so we encourage you all to get as involved as you can and contribute to the game. Please get a vote in as a minimum each day. 2 missed votes may mean a player could be modkilled or replaced by a sub, depending on mod discretion. We will judge each missed vote on a case by case basis. Also, we require you to make a minimum of 5 posts per day, munch to munch

Oisin, I won’t lie, you’re coming across as a bit of a wolf here, trying to get another wagon going on me tonight.

    Here’s the FACTS you wanted.
    Those who agreed alphabetical rota:
    Conor post#227
    Fiona post#240
    Wendy post#247
    Conor post#261
    Abigail post#262
    Patrick post#327
    Angus post#353
    Senan post#546

    Mic drop.

How in gods name am I trying to start a wagon here? I've challenged some things you've said. You still haven't even come close to saying why you are/were so sure about Orla. Or give any indication as to why you might have avoided the lynch.

Ok so fair enough. 7 people is now the entire group.

And one who was a wolf.

Possibly another one in there as I think that spelling out a list in advance would be beneficial to them

I’m happy to input the code at anytime

I mean the tracking back by Angus seeing who agreed to go alphabetical.

It wasnt adhered to yesterday in any shape or form.

He says I agreed to it. I had no problem with it.

However I also said fcuk you all, i dont care anymore later as all the moaning about the rota was pointless.

I don’t really see him back tracking though. He said people voted for it and they did. He’s dug out seven people. That’s a lot more than any other plan had in fairness.

We’re getting completely sidetracked by the Angus talk when we should be concentrating on the important things, like inputting this code!

    Joke

    Like finding another wolf

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,760 ✭✭✭Angus WW

@angus do you know how you avoided being lynched last night?

    Yes. Because the island moved.

We've spent/wasted a lot of time discussing who's going to input the numbers over the past 2 days, time that probably could have been better spent imo. I've a proposal that will hopefully help reduce that bickering but also make it difficult for the wolves to get control of the process.

I'm proposing that anyone who is interested in or doesn't mind entering the numbers says so (many already have) to create a pool of players from which other players can nominate. Anyone who wants then nominates one person from the pool and we come to a consensus (or something close to a consensus) based on those nominations.

The idea being that if there are 2/3 wolves left, it's going to be difficult for them to arrange for more than one wolf to input the numbers. The nominations in themselves may give us some data if someone flips red and someone else had been pushing them to input the numbers.

Any thoughts on going with something like this? I'd be more or less happy with anyone nominated by a second player in this manner rather than self-nominated

Fiona. There's a very clear rule in the OP. I'd ask you to stick to it next time is all I'm saying. Thanks.

Jacob said it moved many times Ab aeterno but for special reasons. Would you know the reason this time

    @emily and @Isla......

Why did you say yesterday was a waste of a day?

We got a wolf and lost two NRVs. Another couple of days like that and we are in a great spot

Yeah Nigel I'm happy enough with this plan. I can't input for another 2 goes I think? (Is that how it works) but I'm happy to put my name back in the hat when that time comes around (and assuming I'm still here).
