Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone ventured to Adverts lately? There seems to be a current trend at the moment of new reg no feedback accounts trying to buy cats and kittens or at least adopt them.

There is a common thought out there that people are using them for bait, it would be nice if they locked this part of the site down to not allow adoption. It seems completely wrong if they are used for bait.

Has anyone challenged them? Or contacted any of the cat welfare people? eg ispca?

I dare not ask what is meant by "bait".

I am not sure but there is a lot of good meaning folk who seem to have highlighted this on the cats ads. There is an abundance of new reg and no feedback accounts , it’s quite odd. I dont believe dogs are on the site so not sure why cats are allowed.

There is much less interest in adopting cats. Most kittens are free or very cheap. I've seen middle aged mongrel dogs for sale at several hundred euros in recent months.
