    Eh, no he doesn't.

Show me where Trump says that he thinks Obama should pay income tax that he doesn't owe.

Which is the crux of it and yet y'all can't see that.

This has to be the biggest nothing burger yet and the left and chewing away on like it's wagyu.

Because of his childish vendetta against the man. remember him demanding multiple birth certificates to prove Obama wasnt born in America...or demanding witnesses of his birth come forward to be quizzed under oath in the Senate or Congress over Obamas birth. Or how he had a bigger crowd than Obama for his swearing in (he didnt) or shrieking how he has "bigger numbers than Obama" for whatever.

I take that as him trying to sneer at Obama for his level of income tax. Why else would he even bother tweeting about it? Didnt he add "do as I say not as I do" after it, which would be a dig at Obama making tax policy and then not paying enough/as much as other American citizens. But gwan, make your claim "well, he didnt say that specifically so you are just assuming..." and be done with it.

As for their being nothing to chew on...well it proves he is a big flabby nothing; not the big billionaire businessman, Art of the Deal tucked in his pants as he runs rings round everyone and cuts amazing business deals that has him flushed with cash. instead hes millions in the hole, and more to come he cant afford to pay and only surviving by massive handouts from the USA government.

You claim he is smart for not paying taxes "You're supposed to avoid paying tax as much as you can. Makes no economic sense to do anything else. " is nonsense. He is not some amazing financial whizz, taking economist and such for a ride....he is not paying tax because he is LOSING money hand over fist! And its not even one year of lose to write off a year or twos profits for tax purposes, he is hemorrhaging money over almost a solid decade. All his businesses are failing or costing far more than they make.

Im no business genius....but not paying tax because you are consistently losing tens of millions a year is neither "smart" nor a position any business wants to be in! Its like celebrating your house burning down because now you dont have to fix the broken window/door that stuck all the time!

Says the chap who calls those he doesn't agree with "right-wing grifters".

Away off and take your own advice there, Chief.

The woke left eat this nonsense up.

Yes Trump paid no INCOME TAX
    Guess who else did not?
Jeff Bezos or Tim Cook and every other CEO of a fortune 500 company.
They dont get paid money for their work, they get paid in Stock/shares.
When they cash out they pay CAPITAL GAINS TAX.
Simple explanation when you take of the TDS blinkers

I think Bezos paid a little more than 700 dollars in the last ten years.

And Jeff Bezos is regularly attacked for it from many angles. As are the owners of Walmart. Sure a third of Bernie Sanders posts this year probably mentioned it. Whataboutery isn't a good defence. If Bernie were to have won the democratic nominee spot and indeed the presidency no doubt some loopholes would be gone with the wind.

The point isn't really how much tax he paid. It isn't whether he has done anything illegal. These are his tax returns, prepared and submitted by him and his accountant, they would both have to be incredibly incompetent to blatantly show any tax evasion.

The point is that Trumpers thought they put a hugely successful billionaire businessman into the White House to run the country. These tax returns just prove what most of us already knew - Trump is a failed businessman, a loser, and he's broke.

cant see these facts being of any issue to his voters to be honest, still think hes on for a second

Jus tto clarify, while th etruens will have been prepared by an accountant, they are his tax returns. He has the ultimate responsibility for what is included, or excluded for it. I notice, as usual, that there is always a narrative with Trump that it is others doing things without his knowledge. That poor Trump is simply too trusting.

    Its nonsense.

I also read that quite apart from the direct effect on Trump vote, this gives a massive boost to the likes of AOC, Sanders etc who have been calling for higher taxes for the rich, to which the GoP, and many DNC, claim they are already overtaxed.

It is one thing talking in abstract about the wealth of Bezos, Gates or whomever, but quite another for Six Pack Joe to see that Trump, that courts himself as an Elite but at the same time a man of the people, is only paying $750 per year in federal taxes. Now they have a clear, real world example of how the system is screwing them.

I would be amazed if that were still the case. Trump is a failure at many things, but a grifter he most certainly is.

He will have used his time as POTUS to get every sweet deal he could. We saw it at the very start when his sons sister on law was using access to him to sell condos.

We saw it with Trump using his office to promote Ivankas brand, same with KAC.

He has taken millions from the state in terms of payments to his golf courses. Many foreign delegations have stayed at Trump Hotel DC, you can be sure they didn't get a Groupon deal!

he ll playit as much as he can after the fact, but he might find himself in court a bit, and continue using other peoples money to do so, more than likely wont serve any time, and live happily ever after

How can people continue to suck on this charlatan?

For years we've had to listen to guff from the simple minded about how he was going to go up against the "elites" and tackle everything bad about America, and here he is being shown up as one of the elite, who has armies of tax dodging experts to grease his avoidance.

There will be a lot of average Joe Americans, who are at the pin of the collar each month because of tax returns and who also voted for Trump on the back of his spoof and lies, who won't be happy about this, whether they're "right wing" or not.

One law for him, they rest of you can lick his boots, and it seems there are still a few who's tongues haven't tired yet.

    Truly pathetic.

You are not wrong , but he needs more than "his voters" to win.

All of those "What have I got to lose" voters from 2016 and the "Anyone But Hilary" voters.

Those are the winning and losing of this election and this news does not help him with those voters.

...and not to forget the more important part of American elections, the true decider, the money!

His biggest problem after November is that he's now no longer useful to the Russians so the money from there will dry up meaning he will definitely go bust in the near future. Thats before the IRS come chasing him or the banks he owes money to. The noose is tightening.

Pete I'm sure you're a nice guy. That said, it's a fact that at various times you defended Trump as
    • Not racist when he linked a video of a supporter shouting white power.
    • Good for the America despite the fact that over 500 senior military officials said that they would vote for Biden instead.
    • Knowledgeable on science and climate change despite the fact he stated the wind turbines give you cancer and injected disinfectant is good for covid.
    • Being victimised by the left when an unprecedented amount of republicans will vote for his rival

In other words Pete, Trump could run over your dog, proclaim canines as enemies of American and you would change your mind about canines. Trump could say that Ireland is in the US and you would be hanging American flags outside your house. He could even round up all the right wing politicians and journalists in the US, have them shot and you'd be decrying it as fake news made up by the left. It's as pointless trying to explain anything to a Trump supporter as it is to an anti-vaccer or climate change denier.

Maybe you missed the entire story but hes broke asf. He's surviving on credit. Once he's no longer president all that will be called in. The IRS will come for 1 to 200 million on top and he has a habit of pissing through millions at a rate that would have seen him broke long since if not for the russians.

couldnt imagine he has used his own money for a long time, and by the looks of it, he hasnt had any in a long time, so he ll just continue to use other peoples money for as long as possible, maybe indefinitely

Broke...on paper. There's plenty of money and assets floating around. The wealthy employ people to go to great lengths to hide their wealth.

The rich in America will often look "broke" on paper and play the poor mouth, but they're not going to end up on skid row any time soon.

    Remember, Donnie's been "bust" before.

Yes but he was rescued by Russian money on those occasions. This time he's damaged goods, he has no use to these benefactors anymore. And if the IRS come looking for back taxes it won't matter where it is, they'll find it. Plus unlike our Mr Quinn the yanks will stick him in prison. It would be a fitting ending for the odious sh1t.

Does anyone else think he regrets becoming president? None of this stuff would have come out if he was just a crap businessman.

like they did with the wealthy american bankers last time? wealthy people rarely go to jail, he ll probably be grand, in and out of court, using other peoples money, he ll be grand
