You. Again, maybe my posts are not clear enough. I merely pointed out that as someone who doesn't support the man, his thinking on both military service and payment of taxes line up very neatly with you own.

Given that, particular in the US, these are two very substantial issues, I would like to see what areas you do disagree with him on as these two would point to you being at least favourable to him.

I will happily provide more information on that when you Convince me that your moral outrage at his stance on paying as little tax as possible is factually opposed by your good self and how you have volunteered to serve your nation at the potential detriment of your own health, Are you a member of the FCA who is happy for a call to duty? A volunteer with the RNLI, mountain rescue teams? Civil defense?

    That's just one headline.

The important part is that far from being a billionaire and a smart businessman as he is often described here, the man is broke with loans of up to 400bn coming due in the next few years.

The dodgy stuff was expected - the man has criminality bleeding out his whatever. What was less expected was confirmation that the smart businessman thing he had going was all fake.

I think all rational people know he's full of ****.

Isn't there a recording of him calling Forbes or something pretending to be someone else who has inside information that Trump is a billionaire?

I don't understand why anyone is surprised when it turns out a politician is a scumbag. They are all scumbags. Even Obama, who most people here love, invaded multiple countries and destroyed the lives of 10s of millions of people. He's a literal evil person.

Be honest, has this video https://youtu.be/prNum4GREWY popped up on any of your google-fed algorithms?

If Trump said this about the military, the media wires would explode.

And if you think the claps from the lined up military are genuine, Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation are squeaky clean.

we cant keep driving on with this tax avoidance, particularly from plutocratic elements of society, its clearly leading to severe civil unrest

You can’t expect those who profit most from that system to lead the change to it.

No need, just find a way to get into $300,000,000 of debt, you should be able to figure out a way to avoid taxes in that situation too.

of course not, it makes sense they would accelerate it, which this chap is doing exactly so

So you have nothing then? Fair enough. No point getting all outraged when all I have done is pointed out your position.

You seem to still be misunderstanding, I take it on purpose at this stage. I have no issue with how much tax he paid. I am not his tax accountant or well versed in the intricities of US federal taxation to be able to comment on whether the $750 dollars he paid in 2016 was the tight amount.

Even the fact that it has been under audit for 3 years at this stage does not, to me at this remove, present any issues to me. Again, I am not sufficiently informed as to the usual nature to comment either way.

But what it doesn't show, without any doubt, if that he is very far from the successful businessman that he portrayed himself as. In 2016 he ran partly on a line that since he was so wealthy he was beholden to nobody. That is clearly a lie. He is very much beholden, and in some pretty serious ways.

So, given what you know about Trump and his failed business, would you think he would have won the 2016 nomination, never mind the POTUS, had he been upfront about how broke he was, how much debt he was in, and how much he was going to have to gouge the state to help cover his liabilities.

    Stop being an extremist.

Insult? Its only an insult because you have not bothered your arse reading the entire story. Thats on you, nobody else.

Extremist ? because i read the full content of an article to get all the facts rather than make up my own perfect headlines for deflection. There is only 1 extremist here mate and it aint me.

    better try harder.

As i said, maybe perhaps go read something yourself then you can actually talk about it from an informed stand point.

There's something about him paying just $750 in tax that's nearly more insulting than him paying nothing. It's taking the piss.

Id imagine if we all looked at the tax liabilities of actual real businessmen that are actually successful in the US, they pay, paid alot more tax than Trump over the same last 15 years.

No, you're here like a broken record every time there is a thread about something which isn't far left.

You probably think Trump is a white supremacist or working with the Russians, don't you?

His trips to his own golf resorts have cost taxpayers over $100m so far - money that goes straight to the Trump Organisation, Trump contributed $750 to that. :pac:

If Trump said it jokingly in a speech that was praising the military, while standing among the military when saying it, then nothing would explode. That video was posted a number of days ago, and is a short clip from a longer speech of Biden praising the military, but it can be hard to watch a video longer than 10 seconds for Trump supporters.

Far left ? Who is far left? lol, just shows you how you skim the details of interactions. Not prepared to be informed i guess. Thats ok some people dont want to put the work in. - like trump i suppose

I have paid more than this guy in taxes in the last 15 years. Let's see how this plays out with their voters.

This is pure trolling and you should know that. How much you earn??

It will probably be forgotten about like all the rest of it after Biden's brain leaks out of his ear tomorrow evening..

The democrats really shot their load too early going for impeachment so soon..

I'm disgusted whilst being reminded of the red carpet treatment this odious scum€@g got on his arrival to Ireland after buying, and at a substantial discount, the hotel in clare, which incidentally has not once made a profit since his involvement (and you can be sure he's milked anything going during the pandemic crisis and before)

Putting the unsurprising news of his taxes, he actually paid more to a porn star in settlements than he has paid taxes for nearly 15 years. Just mind boggling. Will this latest revelation change his obsessed fans minds? I doubt it, they are just dim wits itching for a fight and I fear its going to get very violent in November.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.

Do you honestly think that there is ANYTHING that could come out about Trump that would make the Senate Republicans find him guilty?

Trump has already admitted to this. Remember the debate in 2016 against HRC? She claimed he may not be paying a lot of tax and he said thats because hes "smart".

I can understand how he pays no tax on income earned by various companies on account of historical losses being carried forward. Our banks are doing the same.

The trouble is if he's losing more than he's earning someone ultimately has to fund it.

He has previous form for getting debt written down/off - are his bankers and creditors effectively funding everything?
