    Would a Sky MK4L LNB work with a SkyQ box or is it too old ?

    yes, Q uses a different type of lnb and it wont work with free to air channels on old boxes, use a hybrid. and sky will supply the correct lnb anyway.

    Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I thought. I'll get a hybrid then.
