    Background:

The Colombian National Army has identified a FARC guerrilla stronghold in the Putumayo department of southwest Columbia. The Southern Bloc of the FARC have used the Andean highlands to their advantage and this area is where the roots of the organisation lie. As such, the region is also believed to be harbouring some dissident FARC commanders and continuity elements who are operating outside of the peace accord ratified on November 30th, 2016.
Columbian intelligence has identified the presence of the renowned 14th Front leader Jose Benito Cabrera Cuevas in the region and suspect the stronghold is being used as a staging and training area for dissident FARC fighters and continuity elements. Large heavy weapons caches are suspected to be stored in ammo dumps in the surrounding mountains and the cocoa plantations which have always been a primary source of guerrilla funding can be easily controlled from the advantageous high ground.

With the support of specialist elements from the United States DEA, Columbian Task Force, combined with shared intelligence from Ecuadorian military a planned operation code named 'Operation Hacienda' is set to take place in the coming week to neutralise the stronghold, apprehend high ranking FARC HVT's and destroy any ammo caches or drug supplies in the region.

Delighted to hear this is selling out and there's so much interest. Would have headed along but I've something on that weekend. Really jealous of everyone going!
