Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Thanks everyone and especially Myksyk,
This kingfisher was taken on the Dodder and is one of three late fledglings I came upon whilst walking the dog. I took this with a S/hand Sony A9 I picked up and a 200/600 Sony lens I had out to test.
This was shot at 600mm F5.63 1/125 handheld. With the sharpness and the portability of this combination I ended up buying the lens.
It also has me doubting the canon gear, the focusing on the A9 is phenomenal.

This is German model Fanny Muller shot at Ross McKelvey's Belfast Studio in the derelict basement of the building ... very large window to right offering natural light, f/4, 1/160s, ISO 1600, 44mm.
