    Hi Guys

Is the LG OLED55BX6LB suitable for a brightish space? tV will be used for watching sport and general TV, no gaming. Does it need a sound bar or can it be connected to wireless speakers/Surround sound? Any product would you recommend?

What would be the lead time for delivery to Dublin?

    Thanks,
    Christy

    Hi Christy,

    Thanks for the post!

There's a lot of talk that the brightness of an OLED wouldn't be as good in a bright space as a QLED or an LED but to be honest i haven't seen too much of a difference. The OLED has the best picture quality available. I have an OLED myself in quite a bright living room and I have had no issues. We also have a few OLEDs on display on our shop floor which is quite bright and they still outperform the QLEDs!

We currently have the OLED55BX6 in stock so delivery to Dublin would be 3-5 working days!

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David

Thanks David, I ordered online this afternoon. Any thoughts on sound, do I need external system with it?

It’s not a very large room but it’s part of open plan living room/kitchen/dining

    Cheers

    Hi Christy,

The Atmos sound on the OLEDs actually sounds very good, especially for a flat screen TV.

If you are looking for more bass though and a bit more drive I would recommend something like the Yamaha YAS207 which is a great addition for sound!
