Trump was on fox and friends last week and said that it could be a weekly thing. They said they’d think about it. Imagine that. The president of the us, a republican offers himself to fox for weekly chats over the phone and they say they’ll think about it. Lol.

Or, now that I think of it, Trump could be fine and this could be step one in the ruse to delay the election, perhaps indefinitely. I wouldn't put it past him and his people.

The election won't be delayed no matter what. There's rules in place to determine what happens if a candidate is incapricated, withdraws or dies at the various stages of the process (before the election, between the election and the Electoral College meeting, after the President-Elect has been confirmed but before they take office, and after the President takes office).

If he's just mildly sick, either for a portion of the campaign or all of it, the election will go ahead with his name on the ballot. If he dies before the election, or is so sick that it's determined by him or his team that he shouldn't stand, the Republican party can merely pick a substitute.

    This all day long -

I kinda thought he would spit the dummy and come up with an excuse like 'he wanted to go back to business' or some bs.. I didn't see this one coming - so obvious when you know what to look for in the NPD spectrum of personalities.

What are his policies doing for the planet?

You are pulling the pi** with that question, right ?

15 ways Trump policies are affecting the environment.
And no it is not from the Guardian or some lefty publication.
It is from the US's own National Geographic.

    Clean Air
    1. Pulled out of Paris Paris Climate Agreement

    2. Trump EPA scrap clean power plan
Clean Power Plan was one of the Obama's signature environmental policies. It required the energy sector to cut carbon emissions by 32 percent by 2030, but in October 2017 it was rolled back by Trump's EPA.

    3. EPA loosens regulations on toxic air pollution

    4. Rescinding methane-flaring rules

    5. Trump announces plan to weaken Obama-era fuel economy rules

    Water
    6. Trump revokes flood standards accounting for sea-level rise

    7. Waters of the U.S. Rule revocation
Trump issued an executive order in 2017 ordering the EPA to formally review what waters fell under the jurisdiction of the EPA and Army Corps of Engineers according to the 1972 Clean Water Act. The proposed change narrowed the definition of what's considered a federally protected river or wetland.

    Wildlife
    8. NOAA green lights seismic airgun blasts for oil and gas drilling
Debate over the deafening blasts stem from concerns that they disorient marine mammals that use sonar to communicate and kill plankton.

    9. Interior Department relaxes sage grouse protection
In both 2017 and 2018, the Trump administration Department of Interior eased restrictions on activities like mining and drilling that had been restricted to protect the endangered bird.

    10. Trump officials propose changes to handling the Endangered Species Act
In July of 2018, the Trump administration announced its intention to change the way the Endangered Species Act is administered, saying more weight would be put on economic considerations when designating an endangered animal's habitat.

    11. Migratory Bird Treaty Act reinterpretation
Companies installing large wind turbines, constructing power lines, or leaving oil exposed are no longer violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act if their activities kill birds. This controversial change was declared by the Trump administration in December of 2017.

    Opening public lands for business
    12. Trump unveils plan to dramatically downsize two national monuments
Unlike national parks, which have to be approved by Congress, national monuments can be created by an executive order, which the president said means they can be dismantled just as easily. Such was the case for Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante in Utah, which President Trump reduced and opened for mining and drilling companies in 2017.

    13. Executive order calls for sharp logging increase on public lands
Trump issued an executive order that called for a 30 percent increase in logging on public lands.

    Security & Enforcement
    14. Trump drops climate change from list of national security threats.

    15. EPA criminal enforcement hits 30-year low
The size and influence of the EPA has shrunk under the Trump administration, and it's illustrated by their diminished prosecuting power. Criminal prosecutions are at a 30-year low, and many violations that would have been prosecuted in the past are now being negotiated with companies.

And should we discuss his downplaying of climate change in huge fires in Oregon, Washington and especially California ???

I am not allowed discuss …

    Stuff.......

Trump had the ability and power to enact laws and processes to slow down and control C19. Instead he chose to make a mockery of it saying it was a hoax and fake news, putting down his advisors and announcing that nothing should be done and took forever to tell people they should wear masks.

He has alienated international relations with major powers in favor of petty attacks, wasted time stroking the egos of despots, enacted policies and rhetoric which have damaged global trade and having the biggest ego and most insane actions of a world leader ever who cares about his self image than the people he is supposed to represent. He makes Putin look palatable as a global leader and that man is a former spy/assassin.

The world would be better off with him dead, in saying that if you look at the other side, Biden is also a clown, clearly lacking the mental capacity to be a leader.

As for conspiracy theory, well anything is possible with him and I certainly wouldn't put it past him to try this no more than I believe if Biden wins its just to get the first female president in by default if he has to bow out to health issues. Harris or another female candidate should have just been run up front and Biden/Sanders forgotten about.

Glad you appreciated my humor :pac:

This whole thread is full or Irony - from Trumps potentially fake news of having the virus to all the virtue signalling (normally something the Trump fans accuse "the left" of) about how terrible you must be to wish it upon him.

My only hope is that *if* he has the virus then he hasn't infected many other people. I couldn't be clearer in my belief that the world will be a better place without him.

Yes, parents now living with Melania in the White House.
They are both in their mid 70s, and her father is obese.
So for Melania the potential serious consequences don't just extend to her husband, but her parents too.

So now they believe Trump is being truthful about catching a virus they think is fake

    No. No. No. No.

I'm no fan of Trump at all, but comparing "hate and division" to causing a war that ripped half the world apart and the deliberate genocide of 6 million people is wrong. Completely wrong.

As for Trump's policies on the environment or otherwise, if you look at them, none are any worse (or better) than any other Republican (and many Democrat) Presidents.

Trump's personal opinions, delivery and communication style are off-the-wall crazy. Trump's supporters that see him as some kind of messiah are nuts, but the Trump presidency at its core in terms of policy and action is really just business as usual for the US for the most part.

Wishing death on people is generally considered bad form.

I didn't wish it upon him, I hope if he does die he does so without suffering. Its not his fault he is a narcissistic fcuk. Doesn't change the fact I think the world will be better off when he does die.

Globalisation has done far more damage to the environment than the few regulatory changes trump has made. It's laughable that some people seem to forget the world before trump. He is no worse -if anything his policies are probably better for the environment.

    He certainly polarizes opinion.

The trouble is that we've become so used to lies and half truths coming from the USA that we're understandably deeply cynical as to whether or not to actually believe this.

p.s. If the fat orange fool pegs out has anyone got a number for Melania? She's hot with apparently relatively low mileage.
