No more debates. No more hard questions. An easy excuse if he needs to disappear from a story for a day or 2.

Say what you want about America, but it fcuking loves a real life hero, even if this guy is no real life hero.

If I was Biden, I'd pull all negative ads but push Bidens message vigorously and have him appear and talk about how he hopes Trump recovers but that it is clear that his plan did not work, and cannot work. Get out ahead of the next Trump message.

The idea that he would think about it and discuss it isn't crazy. It's getting away with it that's the problem. I think it was Quin_Dub in another thread that there are too many moving parts for it to work and Overheal also pointed out that the WH leaks like a sieve.



Since you mention a plan B, though, I'm sure that Trump understands the personal legal jeopardy that comes with not being POTUS anymore and that there should be a plan B. If he decides to go to Russia or Saudi Arabia for treatment with its new vaccine*, then I'll start to question his infection but for now, this all seems legit.

He is the most powerful person in the world and his death in office would be a major event and economic disruption.

It's not about him the man but about the President and that demands hyper vigilance. He may well have next to no reason to go but that tiny risk is enough.

Start at that and go all the way up to he will be dead in the morning.
