    It isn't.

There's a lot of pain there. Been a rough week.

If a US president dies in office, he's immediately replaced by the Vice.

It's happened a few times before.

    Not a big deal.

And if pence is incapacitated, Nancy Pelosi takes over.

    Now THAT would be interesting.

The Corona is inside, right? so we need some kind of cleansing of the inside of the body, something to kill the virus on the inside. You know that in a lab the Covid dies pretty much straight away when they put bleach on it, right....some kind of injection into the veins to cleanse the body, disinfectant that might work? they say light kills it too, somehow shine a light inside the body, right ... ultraviolet. Be Proud, stand back & stand by, we can beat this Chinavirus with hydroxychloroquine and bleach on the inside and shine a light in it from the outside-in. I take it twice a day and I'm fine .... Fake News.

Yes. No one wants to see them become martyrs.

The thing about the Trump-supporting internet edge-lords is that not one of them would leave their teenage daughter/sister in a vulnerable situation with Trump and not one of them would invest a penny in any Trump business venture.

    Why?

Because they know he's a deviant and a fraud, they just get a thrill out of 'owning the libtards/lefties', God love them.

That's part of the problem with people who hate Trump... they seem to be of the misguided opinion that their hatred really counts for something important or matters in some vital way!

Probably because their own worst fear in life, is being hated or ostracised by people in society.

Some people genuinely don't give a crap if you choose to hate them... they just plough on with their life regardless, and look at you like you're a bit of strange confused hate-filled creature! :pac:

I personally don't get hatred for Trump... or almost anyone really.

It's always seemed very odd to me, to actually see steam coming out of people's ears when Trump speaks or even just walks into a room on TV... or like in this thread, to actually be hoping for someone to die.

Fair enough he's not your cup of tea... but hatred? What does that really say about you and what your level is mentally?

Anyone who genuinely thinks Trump is the devil incarnate or some Hitler 2.0, has a very serious disconnect from reality. You're not living in the real world... your marxist overlords have succeeded in brainwashing you, to the point where you can no longer tell reality from fiction! :p

I'd much rather see Trump defeated in an election than just fizzle out due to illness. The whole ideology behind him needs to be democratically defeated.

There's a LOT more to the current crazy in the US than just Trump, even if he's the focal point of it at the moment.

It's going interesting to be interesting to figure out why America has had so few Covid deaths given the scale of the infection there.

It’s very difficult to compare deaths per 1000 as we do not know how they are compiled. UK, for example, was not including deaths in nursing homes from what I gather. It’s in the US’s - Trumps - interest to keep the death figs low just to ‘show’ how well the country is managing. So what deaths due to Covid are not included in the US figs. The daily counting of deaths was taken from was it the DCD entity and given over to a committee chaired by VP Pence. I hav’nt a clue how Russia tabulates its figs.
It’s surprising that this element is not taken up by the media
And there is no reporting of how the official figures are ‘going down ‘ with the medical profession. I assume that they would be very upset if the real number is significantly under represented and they having to carry the burden of the pandemic

“Number of Covid cases grows among people at White House ceremony

The number of people from President Donald Trump's inner circle who have tested positive for the coronavirus is growing, with at least seven confirmed cases tied to an event in the Rose Garden last weekend.

On Saturday, Trump officially announced Amy Coney Barrett as his nominee to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg as the next U.S. Supreme Court justice at an outdoor ceremony attended by more than 150 people, many who did not wear masks or practice social distancing.

In addition to the president and first lady, at least five other who were at the ceremony have been confirmed to have Covid-19: former top Trump aide Kellyanne Conway, Republican Sens. Thom Tillis from North Carolina and Mike Lee from Utah, Notre Dame President Fr. John Jenkins and a White House journalist.“

    Will they blame RBG?

To be fair, a lot of people have cashed in their integrity to keep breathing life into this presidency, and he's had doctors administer transcribed/dictated notes about his health, have tested him for cognitive decline without comment, and haven't talked.

Anyway wouldn't they be bound by medical ethics afaik to not leak information about their patient even if the patient chooses to lie - which is otherwise their right to do? So if Trump wanted to go to a handful of doctors in Walter Reed and say 'yeah I tested negative but [I wanted to skip school today],' they really aren't in a position to leak that information. There's a lot of ways a con like that would easily fail so I don't anticipate they'd try it, but then this administration has never minded doing things that were blatantly unethical before and just relying on the electorate never paying attention and using weapons grade gaslighting when they do.

In a recent series on a doc about becoming president it was said to the pretender that what he said doing/saying was a big lie/ not true/ completely wrong. His reply was that it’s not a lie , etc but it’s called POLITICS

I suppose the message is the end result is what it’s all about so achieve it by any means possible - as they say the end justifies the means used

And it would have been a hell of a lot more if it was Hillary in charge, that's for sure. As not a hope she have would banned travel from China and no doubt would have been joining the chorus of those saying the fear of the virus was borne from racism. Take away the liberal mainstream media's constant snipping and twisting, and the Trump administration did little wrong. All the bickering between Governors and the POTUS was liberal media driven also. They truly are the enemy of the people.

10th in the World when in comes to Deaths per Million ain't so bad and on the same metric they are not far off UK, Sweden and Italy.

He absolutely is a great leader and a great World leader at that. The World is much more stable now with regards to wars. Taking out Soleimani and Al Baghdadi were great moves. The left told us these were both huge mistakes which would lead to war and destabilize the areas, but the opposite has happened. North Korea, same deal. All the left did was sneer and whilst that's still something which is far from perfect, that the tension between both countries is much improved is a huge plus and Trump should be commended not ridiculed for it.

Three Nobel nominations now and would be great to see him get one as it would be much deserved given that all he has got done he had to do with a backdrop of constant false allegations against him accusing him of everything from being an agent of the Kremlin to bribing foreign leaders. Insane, imagine what he could have got done without that crap going on.

    Get well soon, Mr.President!

"The news of Kellyanne Conway catching the virus was first released by her daughter over TikTok."

Why kellyannes aides or the White House didn't think it was in the publics interest to tell them first is anyone's guess.

I hope she receives as much compassion as she has shown others.

Apparently Kelly Anne’s daughter and husband are opposed to her career and political views and have been quite vocal about this, so it’s not a huge surprise.

Trump's handling of the little rocket man in N.Korea alone, is worthy of high praise internationally... like you said Pete, most people just sneered at him and refused to engage with him in any way. (presumably because they were scared sh!tless of their image being tarnished working with a dictator)

Trump understands that you need a working relationship with all influential people - even the ones you don't like or agree with their politics. That's something he definitely brought over from the business world, which many of the modern career politicians just can't seem to grasp.

It's amazing the left paints Trump as such a useless leader, so you'd think it would be pretty easy to displace him really...?? The most qualified presidential candidate in history (Hillary:pac:) couldn't beat him... then they failed to have him impeached... now most of them have been resigning themselves to defeat even before biden became the front runner, as apparently there wasn't a single candidate worthy of the task of taking on such a hopeless guy like Trump... funny eh? :p

At what point do you have to admit to yourself that the guy actually has something, and did not merely stumble into the highest seat in the land by pure chance?

Like him or loathe him, the man has leadership abilities. That's a clear fact. You may not like his leadership style or his politics or his decisions... but to deny he has any ability, and then simultaneously admit that he's almost unbeatable (by anyone), sorry but that's just a dumb and obstinate way to analyse things!

Even some of the greatest generals in history, were capable of acknowledging the strengths of their enemies... because if they didn't then they would have no realistic chance of defeating them.

    Every organisation has useless managers.

Perhaps you are someone who automatically and unquestionably ascribes your own managers' positions to their genius and their leadership ability

Unless he becomes seriously unwell (very unlikely) I can only see this as a win-win for the narcissistic mind of Trump. The entire western world is now talking about him, more than ever. If the election doesn't go his way, he will be able to soothe his broken ego by bitterly blaming it on the China virus. Mud will continue to be flung on Biden/Dems (and there will be an asterisk beside his presidency).
If he starts to show signs of getting better soon, he will trade on the sympathy.
This is a complete wet dream for his fcuked up mind.
