If Trump lives through this then surely we need to look at how bad Covid really is in Wave/Surge 2 now that the medical world has had 6 months to figure out how to better treat it

He's one of the most unhealthy looking "politicians" I've ever seen and he's 74 years old

    Counter argument:

"He'll have access to a medical team that no one else would"

Yes, but pre hospitalization what could he possibly have access to that anyone in Ireland wouldn't?

The only thing that comes to mind is intravenous vitamin C packs, but other than that I can't think of anything he could have given to him now that Mary in Roscommon couldn't get too

Can Mary in Roscommon also get the experimental anitbody cocktail from Regeneron?

    Wasn't aware he got this

I'm sure Mary only has paracetamol

Yeah, but enough about the wildlife, lets get back to talking about Trump

The unapproved antibody treatment from Regeneron is being used also according to a letter from one of his doctors.

And it would have been a hell of a lot more if it was Hillary in charge, that's for sure. As not a hope she have would banned travel from China and no doubt would have been joining the chorus of those saying the fear of the virus was borne from racism.

The notion that Trump banned travel from China is an out and out lie spread by Trump himself and swallowed hook, line and sinker by his apologists. American citizens were always allowed to travel from China back to the US after his travel ban and indeed so were non-citizens
430,000 People Have Traveled From China to U.S. Since Coronavirus Surfaced
There were 1,300 direct flights to 17 cities before President Trump’s travel restrictions. Since then, nearly 40,000 Americans and other authorized travelers have made the trip, some this past week and many with spotty screening.

Flights continued this past week, the data show, with passengers traveling from Beijing to Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York, under rules that exempt Americans and some others from the clampdown that took effect on Feb. 2. In all, 279 flights from China have arrived in the United States since then, and screening procedures have been uneven, interviews show.

10th in the World when in comes to Deaths per Million ain't so bad and on the same metric they are not far off UK, Sweden and Italy.

This is just more Trump like delusion. 10ith in the world means there are over 180 other countries who are doing better handling the pandemic than the US is. For one of the worlds most advanced countries the US has a terrible record. So terrible in fact that yesterday there were more positive cases of the virus within the White House than there was in the entire nation of Taiwan. Yet Trump supporters on here say that "ain't so bad"

It sounded like he has a medical team in his house? The chopper would be handy too if my headache got any worse.

People from Kildare were trying to get to lansdowne Road to get tested in the first place.

In case anything bad happens to Trump I would like to state in advance -
He is a bumbling, gauche, egotistical, brash, embarrassing individual who I think was rather surprised to find himself as the US President. Thus have his whoring, rude and indiscrete ways been the subject of public scrutiny. I would go for a pint with Donald Trump a million times before I would go for a pint with Biden, Hillary or the insufferable Kamala . Trump is amusing, cheeky, irreverent, bold, a big trickster and I would enjoy his company. He has an odd paternalistic streak and I think he genuinely connects with a lot of people because of his saviour complex. By having an unusual approach in areas like Korea and the Middle East he has effected improvements there and has not been the warmonger people screech about. The Democrats should have chosen Tulsi or Yang, that would have been absolutely fab, but they messed that up and fcuk em. I hope Trump and his family and colleagues get well soon.

Agree, at least wait until the Epstein trial has fully run it's cause, including all Bill's trips to the Island (and elsewhere) on the Lolita Express.
Were Epstein and Trump not big pals too?

Trump even praised Epstein during a 2002 interview with New York Magazine. “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years, terrific guy,” he explained. “He’s fun to be with– it’s even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it—Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

    Only for 15 years!

Well actually you were the one who was being smart-arsey when you said ‘Obama’.

Trump being hospitalised has been discussed at length for hours. You came in here saying ‘he’s been hospitalised as a precaution’ with no indication of who you were talking about. As well as Trump, Senators and other WH officials tested positive in a big cluster. You simply said ‘he’.

This obviously led to confusion, then you proceeded to being sarcastic when you’re asked to clarify.

Then you said there’s a ‘nasty’ atmosphere because people called you out on your sarcastic tone.

Don’t be playing the victim, here. If you weren’t sarcastic you probably would have been given a break.

According to Google maps the journey from the White House to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre is 8.5 miles, good job there was a helicopter available!

Claptrap. Nobody said that the early travel bans and quarantining were perfect. Of course they weren't but the main reason for that was because of the push back from democrats and the WHO claiming publicly that it was all just fear mongering and xenophobic. The same idiots that moaned in that manner were three months later all talking out of the other side of their mouths of course saying the bans weren't strict enough. Please. The Trump administration were going to be condemned no matter what they did. The Orange Man Bad agenda comes first above all else.

More positive cases of the virus within the White House than there was in the entire nation of Taiwan?? And??

That's like saying there were more cases in Tom Hanks's family in March than there was in the whole of the Yukon!!

That bastard Hanks has no idea how to run a household!! :P

Amy Coney Barrett brought her 7 unmasked kids to a super spreader event to show how pro life she is, so she could be confirmed by a group of pro life people who have presided over 200K+ deaths, to be a pro life judge that will uphold the death penalty and take away health insurance.

Any word if this paragon of moral virtue has been tested herself? It would be quite the twist in the tale if she were to be struck down before her confirmation. At that stage, I might actually start believing in justice from beyond the grave...
    She has already had it.

Statistically it's similar to everyone using the top 10 countries filtered by cases per 100k of population..

But yet it's often used because it makes America look not so bad.
