Starting to look like Trump entourage is riddled with Covid.

    .

The ghost of RBG smiting them down one by one! :D

She wasn't even warm in her grave, as she had not yet been buried, when they had that superspreader event on the WH lawn to announce her replacement. There had been something very unseemly and disrespectful about the speed with which Trump made the announcement.

Still works in progress. I posted this link earlier, one of the Drs. quoted in the article is someone I've followed for some time and very astute:
"While still at the White House, Trump, 74, received a single dose of Regeneron's antibody cocktail, according to a letter issued by White House physician Sean Conley.
The treatment is undergoing clinical trials but hasn't yet received any form of regulatory approval."
They're not approved for general use yet, that was either mentioned in the Q&A at the presser or in various followups. Trump's medical team had to approach the company directly on 'compassionate grounds'
So, yeah, there's a big orange lab rat being experimented on right now that unfortunately has the codes for the nuclear football.

Why would you do that unless you thought the situation so serious that you didn't think the regular treatments would suffice?
Seems a bit early for what amounts to a hail mary throw of the dice...

If you believe what his physician said, Trump has been an active participant in his treatment discussions. So, my guess is, indeed he has a bad case and has agreed that this experimental treatment would be best to improve his health. Trump himself might've asked for Remdesivir, and his crack medical team agreed.

A bit of a long way to say, "He's pretty sick and they're grabbing for lifeboats at this point."

The media have drummed up so much negative rhetoric and ridicule against trump over the last few years, that they have basically made it socially acceptable to openly express hatred for a person or group you don't like or disagree with.

It's a bit like the nazis making it socially acceptable to openly hate jews through sustained propaganda and social humiliation.

The media have blood on their hands with the sort of toxic messages they are sending out to the public. They are creating a monster out in society.

Are you serious with this shoite? It's the media who have drummed up the negative rhetoric?

Here's a Wikipedia page full of insults Trump has bestowed on people:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nicknames_used_by_Donald_Trump

598 people places and things he has insulted:

    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/01/28/upshot/donald-trump-twitter-insults.html?mtrref=www.google.com&assetType=REGIWALL

HE said all these things. They came out of HIS mouth. The media didn't invent his toxic rhetoric.

Get down from the MSM cross, take the blinkers off and actually look at the utter division Trump has sown from the day he started his Presidential campaign (and before, if you count his racist birther nonsense against Obama) instead of pretending he's some poor victim of media manipulation. Frankly, it's pathetic.

I'd imagine there's a lot more of his groups close contacts to become infected.

From what I've read about those treatments previously, they should be administered as early as possible into the illness as they become less effective at preventing severe illness the more days pass.

Its the same with antivirals used to treat the flu. The cut off point for those to have any effect is 48 hrs after symtom onset.

He didn't start the fire... he rode the whirlwind and fought fire with fire but he didn't come out of nowhere. The divisions have been there since the 90s.

Why is he getting treated with anything other than hydroxychloroquine? I thought it was 100% the cure?

I remember looking at that with absolute fury!

All sardined in together, very few masks, shaking hands, hugging and kissing. One would never think there is a
    pandemic.

Senator Mike Lee, who now has the virus, throwing his arms around everyone he met. The Principal of Notre Dame, who also has the virus, apologised to the college for not wearing a mask!! :D

So are we all ready for the inevitable conspiracy theories about Trump being replaced by a fake stand-in when he does comes back.

Just like when they replaced Avril Lavigne

“Number of Covid cases grows among people at White House ceremony

The number of people from President Donald Trump's inner circle who have tested positive for the coronavirus is growing, with at least seven confirmed cases tied to an event in the Rose Garden last weekend.

On Saturday, Trump officially announced Amy Coney Barrett as his nominee to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg as the next U.S. Supreme Court justice at an outdoor ceremony attended by more than 150 people, many who did not wear masks or practice social distancing.

In addition to the president and first lady, at least five other who were at the ceremony have been confirmed to have Covid-19: former top Trump aide Kellyanne Conway, Republican Sens. Thom Tillis from North Carolina and Mike Lee from Utah, Notre Dame President Fr. John Jenkins and a White House journalist.“

    Will they blame RBG?

Saw this tweet: 'RBG has won her first hearing with the Lord'!! :pac:

It think that's supposed to be more of a prophylaxis than a treatment once you have the illness

Even assuming he makes it to the election, the idea of Biden's health being a concern is dead in the water at this stage. Can't see this getting a sympathy vote as it seems more and more likely that he was knowingly a superspreader. And the focus isn't gonna be on Hunter Biden or any such nonsense, it's on the handling of the Coronavirus.

NYT reporting that Trump was brought to Walter Reed for oxygen. if this is the case, he might be deteriorating faster than one would expect (and he is in a high risk group). This could very quickly reach ICU admission territory. Mirroring the Boris Johnson episode a few months ago so far. Unlikely White House are being particularly honest about the severity of this.

    Trump’s Covid messaging:

    JAN: It’s under control
    FEB: It’s a hoax
    M: Packed churches by Easter
    APRIL: It’s going away
    MAY: Time to open up
    JUNE: Just embers
    JULY: Time to open schools
    AUG: Other countries are worse
    SEPT: Vaccines coming soon!
    OCT: *tweeting from the hospital*

All this talk about his illness and the severity (or lack thereof) of it, has conveniently eclipsed all discussion of his taxes and the disaster of a debate. It will, of course, mean he probably won't be taking part in a second debate also.

The Democrats have agreed to take down all negative ads targeting Trump, four weeks out from the election. In my opinion, that's a bad move. They should certainly not be pulling any ads, especially those regarding Trump's atrocious handling of the virus. If the roles were reversed, guaranteed the Trump campaign would not be as magnanimous.

Trump is dead serious about getting re-elected, he's already wanting out of hospital to get back to work. This virus from accounts of those who have had it can trick you into thinking you are okay, only for it to take you down 5 days later.
