Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Brain dead from Wycherley

The lockdown has done the radar of Leigh halfpenny A world of good

And ofcourse another ****ing penalty 😡
The ref just might as well put his arm out the second Scarlets enter the 22.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Wycherley, in his first contribution to the game, enters the maul at the side right in front of the touch judge.

Its stonewall penalty. Not even debatable

That was a pretty obvious penalty though

I’m not debating the penalty, the debate is Munster’s horrendous discipline.

Trophy drought will continue without a new plan

De Allende and Farrell have done the square root of feck all this game. Not actually their fault as they aren't being used. But you'd wonder what Munster are doing in training.

Should probably just turn off, this is absolutely appalling

Not a great showing by Munster, hard to watch...

Catch and flop tactics from Munster are depressing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

    60 min in

Munster tight 5 not good enough
    Kleyn is bang average
Beirne isn't suited to lock in this team

    Back row isn't working
    PoM a passenger
    JOD not a 7
Stander works hard but largely ineffective (just been turned over)

Backline ... hard to judge but JJH isn't good enough.

    JvG is a spoofer

Scarlets got outside Munsters defence.veey easily there. Good covering from Coombes on that kick otherwise it's a try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,750 ✭✭✭degsie

What's the penalty count? Surprised there isn't a red card.

    It’s now getting embarrassing

It's like groundhog Day everyday with jvg.

All optimistic and expecting a different game plan but never happens

When munster play a bit of power heads up rugby they get a try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Try should be fine but 21 for Scarlets should be yellow carded for sliding in with the legs at the end.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

Pom dropping elbow onto Jake Balls face? Is that what they are checking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Scarlets scrum half slide in with the knees after the try was scored. It's become commonplace in the game, but I hate seeing it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,225 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Are we looking at possible foul play by POM? In the exact same way he was booked for earlier in the game?

Davies hit his own man tho I think

Whatever about POM, the Scarlets scrum half slid in knees first into Farrell while he was on the deck

Bloody hell POM that was brain-dead

If they took into account the scumbag that POM hit then he wouldn’t be getting anything, but that’s completely brainless.

Scarlets are always at it, sliding in with the knees on the try scorer.

Last year McFadden had to go off becuae of the same tactic Scarlets did

A bit brainless by POM, second yellow and off on red

Amazing how they saw POM but missed the two Scarlets players sliding in with the knees

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

POM being on a yellow already probably made that an easier decision for the ref, but could easily have been more.

Awful stuff, and even worse it undermines the first decent bit of play from Munster this half

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

Think this sums up Munster Twitterati in a nutshell. Denial

Every angle shows that clear as day, officials no interest but instead POM penalized for what didn’t at least appear clearly to be a penalty let alone a card. Ref is brutal.

    Penalty bonanza today.. !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Justed wasted 40 seconds on deciding what to do with the penalty.
Cant even make decisions never mind play professionally now.

Braindead from POM. Can't argue with that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

Even when we score tries we concede pens

Stupid from PoM. Any point from here would be a massive bonus for Munster here some braindead penalties to concede

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

How many replays did they look at and not one of them thought to question the knees?

The player that slid in even looked guilty after it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,924 ✭✭✭KH25

What was O’Mahony’s first yellow for? His second was completely needless. The try was being given.

Something pretty similar. Late hit at a ruck to a player who couldn't defend himself. The first was stupid, the second utterly moronic.
