You have two sides here, the crazy Trump supporters and then the crazy Democrat/anti-Trump brigade.
There are very few people posting here who have a bit of perspective.

"Very fine people on both sides".

Or scroll to the very bottom of the page and beside contact says "Touch Site". If you hit that link it will default to the touch version on your phone always and forever.

Have you ever seen me defend him?
I've nothing good to say about him and I've always made that pretty clear.
Why do I have to be constantly sniping about him?
There's loads of it on the thread. You and others seem to confuse my disappointment in where the Democrats have gone as support for Trump when it has never been like that.
I wanted a young candidate who would be certain to beat Trump. I wanted a candidate who was in touch with the world as it is today. If those who became serious candidates only Andrew Yang was that kind of person imo. The guy I really liked didn't out his name forward, that is Martin Heinrich. There's loads more potentially great candidates.
The way it's likely to go now is Biden for one term and then possibly Harris versus some Republican candidate who'll have a great chance because he's not Trump.
If the Dems get smart they'll run Cuomo in four years time.
Then it's likely you'll see Joe Kennedy by 2032.
If course I could be wrong and the socialist wing of the party could take over. Heinrich was behind Bernie's Medicare for all. I'm not against a social democrat.

It's another sad day for Americans as they realise the VP candidates are nearly as bad as the Presidential ones.

    Pence is coming off impressively.

If Pence got up on stage and took a **** you'd sing his praises. You stand for nothing.

Pence is easily winning this one tonight so far.

You've the usual sycophants thanking your posts. I don't even like Kamala Harris, but it's clear to anyone with 2 brain cells that Mike Pence is nothing more than a mouth piece for Trump, the worst president in modern history.

He's stayed on point for the most part, but maybe he has gone off topic at times I agree. But he's very composed, he's answering well and hitting Harris with some great lines. The last point sounds trivial but it could well win him this debate in the eyes of many.

Kamala should use the line that Pence can't even answer the question in a debate and he claims they are telling Americans what they need to know.

The vice president is a mouth piece for the president? Shocking.

Pence is doing Trumps work for him tonight and he's doing it well.

Well I said for the most part. I accept that he's gone off topic at times. They both have to be honest.

I'm not here to defend him. Just making an observation that between the two of them I think he's been the more impressive.

Vice President Pence, do you believe that climate change is an existential threat?

Pence: They're gonna remove the Trump tax cuts! AOC etc.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,919 ✭✭✭simongurnick

He has stayed on his points

They asked him a out the importance of the role of the VP and he went back to twist Harris words about the vaccine, basically a straight line. I already mentioned the climate question changing to taxes. He also goes over time, every time.

/the transcript on his climate change answer will be hilarious.

Sorry, but that absolutely had to be addressed. She and Biden are undermining a potential vaccine to push their political agenda. That cannot be ignored.
