Politicians (and especially US politicians with their binary system in which they are always always on opposites of the aisle with no potential for coalition) are masters of extracting every ounce of political capital they can from anything.

Guiliani has (supposedly) had all this dirt for months and months - plenty of time to get all the ducks in a row, get corroborating statements from various people involved, and have it all ready to be released at the perfect time to hammer Joe Biden.

Instead, we got these rumours that even Fox wouldn't touch, released in a drip-feed manner at a time when approximately 25-40% of the electorate have already cast their vote.

If there really is any devastating content among all the dirt that supposedly exists, Giuliani et al. have done a terrible job of exploiting it.

The caveman thinking is that it worked 4 years ago, so let's do something similar this time. We will likely see more Trump tax information, so they at least need to make up something to counter it.

I have actually been touched by a creepy old man. Long long time ago on a bus, I didn't like it one bit. Rudy however is not creepy old man and Maria Bakalova was flirting with him big time.

Here's a real creep, he is genuinely stomach churning, those poor girls...

    And the circle is complete.

    Joe is a creep.
    Joe is senile.
Joe won’t turn up for the debates.
    Joe is corrupt.
    Joe is a creep.
    Repeat.

    they/them/theirs

You're right, he's the kind of corrupt creep who does turn up for debates.

Unproven allegations doesn't make him remotely corrupt.

We've got the best creeps. Great creeps. The most corrupt creeps we've ever had, just the greatest.

    Were they at war?

They were in 1948 and again in 1967. Great to see two former enemies coming together in peace, isn't it ?

Trump deserves to be recognised for bringing about historic peace agreements in the Middle East. What is it now 4 or 5 peace agreements ?

Trump fans have all of a sudden come in to possession with a new found morality.

A literal book has been written about Trump using his position for his and his own families personal gain.

Have you any comment on this

Honestly? I can see Trump fans seeing this as a plus not a negative. Abusing the institution for profit is just “smart” you know

The president told his cult to go watch the polls and so they do

    https://www.mediaite.com/news/maskless-trump-fan-blocks-masked-biden-supporter-at-florida-poll-hes-asking-for-trouble-lets-give-it-to-him/

Voter intimidation incidents are becoming more prevalent by the day. Here, Trump voters, maskless, block others from casting ballots.

Oreos are too gay now for the right wing

Rainbow cream filling has upset conservative groups.

Nike shoes, NFL gear, Keurigs, Oreo cookies. The silly things the right boycotts. And then they cry when Tucker Carlson loses sponsors. Geez

    Truth hurts kiddo.

In fairness, he has a point. Biden only looks like "the good guy" because the other guy is Trump.

And that's if he looks like the good guy at all.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Jared and Ivanka deliver Streisand Effect to a billboard in Times Square that is unflattering of them and their Covid response.

Ratcliffe said he wasn't involved in the FBI investigation, so he was speaking on the basis of the information (or lack thereof) available to him (but will no doubt become available to him when the FBI investigation is concluded, at which point we will know if there is actionable intelligence).
So, the question about the laptop is an open one.

What isn't in question is that Giuliani was working with a Russian agent who was trying to 'employ manipulation and deceit to attempt to influence elections in the United States'.
Regardless of the particulars of the laptop story, this casts Giuliani in a very poor light, hench the schadenfreude when he himself becomes the victim of some underhand tactics.

Rudy would argue he is fighting the good fight and trying to keep a criminal out of the whitehouse. Remember he brought Mafia and Farc to justice.

Trump is not the one whose family is in business deals with Whitey Bulger’s brother and the Chinese Communist Party.

Trump had a bank account in China to pay taxes from. Those taxes go to the CCP. Seems like pretty obvious 'dealings with the CCP' to me.

Trump is not on any flight logs. I’ve reviewed them myself.

    Clearly not

Bulger's brother was not a criminal so it's a tad irrelevant. Assume you're basing the CCP thing on unverified emails so irrelevant. Meanwhile Trump has lots of dealings with China and his daughter has benefited from US policy on China, that is verifiable. Oh and he's got that Chinese bank account.

And how exactly do you know this? Or are you saying all of Trump's deals are legit and above board?
