But Rudy is a partisan hack, who has been working with a Russian agent who was trying to undermine the election. As we can see, Rudi can easily be deceived, so it's only sensible that anything that Rudy says should be treated with a healthy dose of skepticism. Hence the FBI investigation into possible Russian involvement.

We should await the results of that before burying Rudy.
