Joe Biden plagiarizing Trump by saying "it is what it is"

So basically you're saying that nobody can use that phrase now that Trump has said it? How far gone are you?

I don't think you understand what the word plagiarizing means.
    He is mocking him

Jebus Kid, you are really scrapping the barrel now.

You do understand that Trump didn't invent that phrase? So if you believe Biden is plagiarising Trump, then you must also be aghast that Trump plagiarised it already.

Is your belief 8n Trump shaken now that he is a plagiariser?

Tomorrow, he'll say they're trying to control it so.

    Down 800 points now.

The markets were the sole indication of a country's economy according to the Trump fans on here, he's even put this down the toilet now.

A raft of gaffes from Trump, says the wrong name even when the person is next to him

Also bizarre as he seems to be reading from notes, but still gets the name wrong.

President Donald Trump’s poll numbers are bleak. No matter the outcome in November, however, on at least one issue his side can declare victory: The era of free trade, already on the wane, is officially over. It has been replaced by a new “America first” industrial policy, which even Trump’s Democratic opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, has now embraced.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bloomberg.com/amp/opinion/articles/2020-09-11/trumpism-has-already-won-the-campaign-against-free-trade

The Democrats always hated free trade.

Joe Biden, who has announced he is running for US president, is best known in the UK for ripping off a Neil Kinnock speech.

He has a history of it.

And how exactly is it plagiarism in this case?

Do Trumpers not realise that everytime their merry band of malfunctions attack either Biden's speaking ability or his son they lose more and more votes?

    Of course not.

It makes Trump look even more of a vulgar cruel person than everyone knows he already is.

It's this babbling irrelevant nonsense from them that has helped the foundation for Biden's strong electoral position.

Saying Biden is best known for "plagiarizing" a speech in the UK is also nonsense...sky news can be rag at the best of times but come on...

The claim is he has a stutter/stammer, which doesn't explain away all his ****ups. This feigned outrage is incredible, if he wasn't making substantive mistakes regularly they wouldn't be called gaffes, they wouldn't be famous. Jake Tapper learned not to ask about the gaffes despite how obvious they are.

What's the explanation for Trump's regular **** ups and substantive mistakes? There's no outrage, just bemusement that a Trump supporter has the neck to criticise anyone else's gaffes when his hero makes them daily. But keep defending the hypocrisy.

It's more the reaction to the feigned level of importance being put to these gaffes really.

He has always been "gaffe-prone" as you rightly say and he has a stammer.

But now all of a sudden those same gaffes that he's been doing for 40 years are concrete evidence of mental decline.

It's the shift in narrative that's the source of frustration.

Are people suggesting that him having always had tendency to say Bob when he meant Dave is a disqualifying behaviour?

Will him stumbling over words from time to time make him more likely to make really terrible policy decision like leaving the Paris Climate Accord or signing executive orders rolling back environmental laws?

People posting gaffes as they come in a political campaign! If trump accidentally said he had the best voter fraud organisation there would be pages and pages of it, we'd never hear the end of that one. But people are attacked morally and from almost every angle when major gaffes are posted about Biden.

No there's no shift in narrative. He's always made gaffes but he appears to be slowing down mentally and making a hell of a lot of big mistakes. Check out the difference between him now and just 10 years ago if you don't believe me.

There's constant attempts being made from all angles to sully Biden's reputation. They are so stupid that they don't realise you have to stick to one story to have any chance of making it work.
You can spend your days looking for the truth but it'll never get there because there's people full of crap and then others using deflection as a defense.

It's a waste of your time getting involved in this nonsense.

You're so angry about it! My hero?! The neck! Christ. Yea I he makes ****ups too and I've no problem people posting them as they come or claiming he's having mini-strokes... work away.

    finally we agree on something..
yes attempts are being made from all angles to sully Bidens reputation ..
even his own son is at it..
I mean cmon man .. my own son .. cmon man

guess he didnt pay attention during those 'character' lessons ;)

    This is how you plagiarise:

    Nearly word for word

Ah lads, some of the stuff on here is gas. I'm getting great enjoyment out of the Trump fans putting up videos and links in an attempt to support Trump/discredit Biden only for minutes later for those same links and videos be shown up for the absolute nonsense they are. It's as tragic as it is funny.

Swing state polls looking grimmer and grimmer for Donald whilst his campaign team keep gifting Biden material day after day with their continuous gaffes. Just over a week to go before the electorate send him and the GOP packing. Whether he accepts the result is another question but regardless, the whole world will be glad to see the back of him.

The Economist now saying Trump has a 4% chance of pulling off a victory. FiveThirtyEight moved Biden up to 88% chance based on latest polling and data from record breaking early turnout.

The Hunter Biden stuff is essentially way to online and late to have any bearing.

Arguably the "grab her by the pussy" type vibe, just is not going to resonate with Joe Public no matter how much some feel it should.

Id recommend the podcast they did AFTER Hilary lost. Give it a listen, what a pity party , the shock was palpable, they could barely speak.

Yep pollsters , looking forward to cashing in on their ignorance in 9 days time, just as I did 4 years ago.

What markets have you bet on? I took a look earlier and doesn't seem like there's any value anywhere except maybe Arizona and a few Senate races

BREAKING: President Donald Trump TAKES LEAD Over Joe Biden in Rasmussen Daily ‘White House Watch’ — 4 Point Swing in ONE WEEK

Trump was 12 points behind with Rasmussen in late Sep.

Then down to 3 points. Now ahead.

They were the first to pick up the swing to Donald the last time as well.

    Interesting times ahead

Last time there weren't >50m votes already cast at this point. The poll one week ago will still be very relevant because of early voting

Online is much more important than the news from CNN CBS Fox ABC etc these days.

It's where its won and lost.

See this isn't at all like 2016. In 2016 Trump's campaign made solid rejoinders against Hillary Clinton, and Americans were convinced she was crooked by the right deluge of media. These problems plagued the entire election evidence by the 4-5 intersection points in the polls where Trump either was in a heat with Hillary or in some cases polled higher.

That resulted in a lot of voters abstaining, or voting 3rd party, or in some cases voting for Trump as a protest vote against the establishment; Republican and Democrat gridlock persisted for the better part of the past 10 years before Trump. 2 last years of GWB Democrats split the Congress and Bush vetoed an ungodly amount of legislation to keep things cloistered. the last 6 years of Obama we know all about, including blocking of court appointments. So, I definitely appreciated how Trump won over those votes, as the outsider candidate.

But we just don't see that here. We don't see the same energy from broad corners, the excitement of an outsider to shake up Washington. Aside from some rally die hards and boating disasters, that is.

We don't see much excitement about Biden himself but we do see mass excitement for removing Trump from office. He picked up a lot of Obama voters in 2016 that will not make that choice again. Obama voters who, even in 2008, didn't like Hillary.

I'm tempted to suggest that, ordinarily, Biden would win a race like this in a landslide, but the attacks on the election itself leave the whole outcome in limbo.
