Just caught that part of the Joe Biden 60 minutes interview where he says again that he didn't discuss Hunter's business.

Given that we know that as the point man for Ukraine he knew that Burisma had a well-earned reputation for corruption, does anyone here find it credible that Biden simply said 'I hope you know what you're doing there'. Honestly, does that make sense in anyones mind?

Well I find it a bit dodgy that his son got a job at Burisma but we really don't know if he was involved in that. There's every chance Burisma head hunted Hunter(love that) to try and get in the good graces of Joe.

So while there's a bit of a stench off it there's no proof of any wrongdoing.

And its his son which makes it less of a big deal. A dad helping out his son isn't a very bad thing.

I guess there's a lot of "interpretation" in the statement "we never discussed business"

For me , I'd interpret that as never getting into the details of business , upcoming deals , specifics on money involved etc.

I've never discussed "business" with my father beyond - "How's work?" , "Grand , very busy , a few big projects on the go at the minute" and the like.

In fact I'd say even more so with someone in Bidens position , he explicitly wouldn't ask details , as him even knowing about perfectly above board and regular activities would be deemed bad given his position.

A bit like the way Trump isn't supposed to discuss business with Jr. and Eric , which I'm sure he doesn't


Biden knew that Hunters role had already been investigated by the Ethics office guys and while they said the "optics" weren't good , there was no illegal activity going on according to them.

Thanks but you're ignoring the main point, it was known to be a notoriously corrupt company in a notoriously corrupt country. A country that was in chaos over just that issue. A dad helping out a son isn't a bad thing, no.

To be fair - UPS have confirmed that they were the carrier and that a damaged and empty package was found en route to Carlson in LA.

Now of course , UPS can't confirm "what" was in the package or why on earth the Fox team would put the original (and apparently only copy) of such incredibly damaging and valuable documents in the post without first taking copies or why they didn't simply scan the documents and send them electronically.

I don't think he's lying about that, Tucker is attacked day and day out because of his popularity but I've never had reason to question his 'tegridy. It's too big a lie like with Giuliani's potential lies, they are exposing themselves greatly because of how easy it would be for anyone who didn't like them or even just wanted to reveal the truth to do so.

You have more people on the record and more corroborated evidence than for the impeachment so if you had any time for that I hope you have time for this. I think we are not so far apart on it actually.

The conspiracy from some on the left that she does not love him is typical of the abuse she has gotten for the entirety of the first term. Its all sour grapes! She supports her husband to her own detriment, she is a great example to young women the world over - stay strong, don't let the bullies take you down....

Tucker Carlson doesn't have an obligation to investigate the truth of statements before making them on his show, and his audience doesn't expect him to report facts, a lawyer for Fox News told a New York federal judge on Wednesday. 

Now if his own networks lawyer says Carlson investigate the "truth if statements" and isn't expected to "report facts" then why in the blue hell would you believe him.when he says he had evidence but it got "stolen" and there were no other copies?

They had the hard drive in their hands to do with as they saw fit, including releasing all the evidence they say exists on it, yet they didn't, why did they not release all that evidence?

My opinion is that the evidence does not exist, and they had nothing to release, so by saying they handed it over they could drag this out as an attempt to smear Biden (even though a GOP committee already completely cleared him).

If there is a sane narrative as to why they didn't release the evidence, please present it.
