In these difficult times, times of extreme fear being perpetuated by the media, it is great that there is a world leader giving a message of hope. His courage in the face of extreme opposition I believe will win him the second term. If only there were more like him...

False hope and future faking are two big traits of the
    narcissist alright.

Trump haters are vile virtue signaling hypocrites, they accuse Trump supporters of being racist, bigoted, misogynists which actually makes them bigots themselves, assuming someone is racist because they support a specific politician. I hate how if a celibrity shows their support for Trump they are unfollowed and ridiculed, it is childish behaviour from hate filled hipsters. I will laugh and dance around my living room if Trump wins.

Nice bunch of generalisations and bluster..

And what do you think happens when an apex predator starts to overpopulate? (Which grey wolves have been for many years now)

You get over predation on other animals and livestock... you get species of deer starting to die off etc.

And you get more potentially dangerous encounters with people. All of which eventually leads to the wolf being demonized and hunted to extinction like in the past.

Giving control back to the states and locals is working very well in other areas.

And all protections are not being removed. They are still being monitored to ensure their numbers remain healthy. It's the most intelligent and common sense decision to make.

Sensible management of numbers is the best way to ensure their survival in the long term. Delisting is the ultimate goal of any endangered species - which has now been achieved with this animal. So it is a great success story!

That is some A level ignorance, right there.

Re-introducing wolves to Yellowstone improved bio diversity and lead to an improvement in habitats. Predators are important to well functioning ecosystems.

The idea of nature needing man to skillfully manage it for it's own good is just nonsense cooked up those trying to sell their own exploitation under cover of 'management.'

You seem to think you're revealing something new to me here...

Where did I say that wolves weren't beneficial to the ecosystem or bio diversity?

I'm fully aware of the important role that wolves, and all apex predators play in their environment.

The reintroduction of wolves has been incredible for many aspects of their environment. That's the reason they were reintroduced and protected.
The idea of nature needing man to skillfully manage it for it's own good is just nonsense cooked up those trying to sell their own exploitation under cover of 'management.'

You're the one displaying "grade A ignorance" here with this statement.

Man has been hunting wolves since the beginning of time.... there are cave paintings from ancient native tribes, depicting humans hunting wolves... Humans hunting wolves, is every bit as natural as wolves hunting deer or elk...

So yes, humans have historically had an important role in managing wolf numbers, and keeping them from overpopulating. We were traditionally rivals, and hunted much of the same food... which is why many wolves became close to ancient human tribes, and some eventually were domesticated into what we see today as domestic dogs.

People and wolves have a complex and interesting history.

You are very naive, if you think predators like wolves can be left unmanaged and everything will be fine... naive in the extreme. Many of the people who live in these areas, love and admire wolves. And they are passionate about their conservation. But they are sensible and intelligent enough to realise, that this involves managing their numbers responsibly.

This is interesting, Glenn Greenwald has resigned after he was forced to censor his coverage of the alleged Biden family corruption scandal. For those that don't know, Greenwald is best known for playing a key role in releasing the information gathered by Edward Snowden. Greenwald has been harshly critical of Trump in the past so this really looks like a case of journalistic integrity on his part. If the Biden corruption allegations have thought us one thing it is that the mainstream media are in the pocket of the Democrats. Imagine if there was this much evidence pointing at Trump corruption? Even if there was a fraction of that evidence, the media would be all over it, wall to wall, 24/7...

I admire Glenn's stance on the issue, the Biden corruption allegations must be brought to the public's attention.

    From https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/29/business/media/glenn-greenwald-leaving-intercept.html

Mr. Greenwald, a former lawyer, wrote a 3,300-word post on the digital platform Substack on Thursday saying that he was leaving the site because it had refused to publish an article he had written on Joseph R. Biden Jr. and his son, Hunter Biden, unless he agreed to remove portions that were seen as critical of the Democratic presidential nominee.

And yet people have been taking those same words out of context against Trump since the Axios interview. You reap what you sow.

Ok, tell us what sentiment Trump was trying to communicate when he used those words versus when Biden used them.

Greenwald was being edited, not censored. He has a history of being a self-important prick, and seems that's been the case here as well. Being told not to include unsubstantiated accusations in an article, and proof being required for those accusations, is not the same as "censorship".

Journalists like Greenwald and Max Blumenthal say they're on the left, but really they just love authoritarians. Find an article of them being critical of Putin, China, Belarus, etc...
