The longer the Biden camp stays silent, the more it will annoy Trump and crackpot Rudy. They're failing in their desperate attempts to provoke a reaction and it's hilarious.

    Exactly this.

Trump will rant all he likes but without any evidence of wrongdoing by Biden its just hot air. Will Trump do the next debate so he can try bring this up?

Haven't used LOL in years but it seems fitting. The 'Airplane' strategy :pac:

He will be gagging for the opportunity.

Whether or not Biden will remains to be seen.

Hopefully Biden comes down with "the sniffles" and says he can't do it, make a miraculous recovery a couple of days later, Trumps head will explode :D

    Precisely.

The last 100 posts or so in this thread demonstrate quite clearly why the Biden camp refuse to comment.

    Which isn't even quite true

    lol, the response is

    "I have no response"

    dead right.

    Giuliani must be apoplectic.

Why is Trump even wasting time on this nonsense?

Surely all he needs to do is talk about the phenomal COVID response, the best economy in history, the wall, the unemployment numbers, doing more in 47 months than any POTUS ever, sorting out US position in the world bringing all those coal jobs back?

Isn't that what all his supporters keep telling us? That basically everything is the best it ever has been.

He says he has Hunter's signature on the contract, the one that says the shop owner gets ownership of the laptop and data if it's not collected or paid for. He would be doing serious, serious jail time if he is part of a hoax. The article also points out no one in the Biden camp or on the email chains relating to shady business deals in Ukraine and China have questioned their authenticity. Time to face the facts and face the music.

So whats the music Joe will be facing. When is it kicking off? Will they have him before the election do you reckon?

Just when you thought it could get weirder, the Trump campaign are accusing the Democrat Governor who was the subject of a real assassination plot of encouraging an assassination attempt on the President.

    Pretty weak tea,

    The whole string is "86 45 11 03 2020" - referencing the date of the election, November 3rd, 2020.

This kind of stuff reeks of desperation. The shriller the tone the more they fear a hammering, so one must presume their internal polling isn't looking good. Problem for them is that their increasingly frantic, nasty and personalised attacks will only serve to further disenfranchise moderate Republicans.

The weird thing about this for me is not that they are peddling this kind of guff, but that they are peddling it directly from the Trump campaign.
I'd expect them to at least have surrogates put it out there, see how it flies and then follow up with a 'did you see what people are saying...'.

Instead they've gone straight to a direct accusation of sedition against a state Governor.

    I think that's it exactly.

This kind on guff is only going to connect with people that were always going to vote Trump regardless.

I think the problem is that any surrogate who would disseminate this kind of lie would quickly find themselves discredited. Even a few posters on here have lost credibility due to posting tweets and videos that turned out to be doctored or untrue. So, nobody with credibility is going to touch the bizarre rubbish now being concocted in Trump's camp. Hence they are having to do it themselves.

In the Simpsons, there's an episode where Homer runs for Springfield sanitation commissioner because of a petty grudge and bases his campaign off of crazy promises. He even lands a good zinger on the incumbent during their debate. He even claimed that the incumbent tried to lure children into a gingerbread house. The similarities between this plotline and the presidential campaign have been noted by many people, but I'm just wistful for the days when that was an outlandish story and not an eerie portent. It would not be at all surprising at this point if Trump made a direct claim about Biden having lascivious intentions towards children (he may have skirted around the idea a time or two, it's hard to keep up with all the mad stuff he says), and he's certainly not attempting to reign in the conspiracy theory among his base that Hillary Clinton and Biden are part of a ring of satanistic paedophiles. American politics certainly needs to get back to certain level of decency and respect in political discourse and get back to some sort of shared reality because you can't even have a proper debate if you're both living in parallel universes, essentially, where you cannot even agree on the basic facts to argue around.

Trump: "The Wall is almost done!"

The wall: 5 WHOLE(?) extra miles of fenced border added during Trump's presidency.

This drip drip drip has all the hallmarks of things like ACORN (dud), Selling Fetus Parts (hoax), Migrant Invasion Apocalypse (nope), etc

At least when Wikileaks had the Podesta emails, they didn't play hide the spoon about it. This is amateur stuff and America has seen them play this game of crying wolf before.

If you're a Simpson's fan you would notice that they point out the dirty tricks campaign stuff a lot and reference a few well know historical ones (season six where sideshow bob runs for mayor for example), It's one of the main expectations of American presidential election campaigns.

Interesting how none of that does anything to actually refute the argument that OAN is not credible.
